The most impressive part about this game is that Xu Xin needed to play three other games prior to this. He was exhausted by the time he started this game. 2019 in general was a super stressful year for Xu Xin. Two words. HOLY COW. Initially I was very disappointed that ITTF spoiled the winner. But even after knowing the outcome, watching this really took my heart for a ride. That was the best footwork I've ever seen! Truly a master of the game. And Harimoto, oh my is he a rising star, despite vocal annoyances. The way he strongly countered the spin and remained fast and accurate in kill shots was remarkable. No matter who won, this has just become a classic! Well done to both players!

@@ttime9947 TTime he didn't say he will retire after that but it could be possible because the average retirement age for Chinese players are 30 years old. What bamo says is that he will be dissapointed if he wasn't chosen for Olympics next year. FZD is Garuanteed a spot but the 2nd spot could go to MA long
@@ttime9947 he didn't say he will retire after that but it could be possible because the average retirement age for Chinese players are 30 years old. What bama meant is that xx might not be selected for Olympics singles. FZD has guaranteed a spot and the 2nd spot might go to MA long.
@@starking1187 I think XX has better chance if ML continues his struggle like he has been recently...
Xu Xin: Make Pen-Hold Great Again.
Revisiting this classic. The mental strength of Harimoto at that age, incredible.
XX had a wrist injury if u saw the whole match
I was wondering why Xu Xin didn't play more spin games - that explains...
Xu Xin's wrist is injured before the game. Really incredible performance from Xu Xin.
First time I hear "Chole" from Xu Xin since I don't-know-when. This was really insane match. Matches like these are jewels of table tennis.
Youre my jewel
i think screaming when winning a point is a bit irritating even for audiences, let alone players and i am amazed the calmness that Xu xin has. he is so good at everything and is world's best player for me and will be forever like ma long and fan zhendong. i respect him so much and hope i can become one😇😇
I am more a Xu Xin guy, but have to pay tons of respect to Harimoto. His playing in the fourth and fifth set was overwhelmingly incredible. But Xu Xins mind of a titan made the difference. You also have to see the potential of Harimoto. He is such a young player. Imagine him with much more experience and mentality...
Incredible match! XX got stretched to the limit. Harimoto needs to improve consistency in rallies. Next time TH!
Xu Xin, the king's style.
Xu xin handsome n the only macho man.. 😍😍He's cool player n person.. Like it
I am glad that Xu Xin won this game, however, Harimoto demonstrates fast improvement, he manages to return XX's serve much better than the previous matches. I hope XX and his team learn from this match to prepare for the next, Harimoto is becoming a serious world-class contender.
16:32 lady umpire unable to control her laughter 😇😍😁
I love commentator! Injury or no injury, undefeated Xuxin😂
Oh my goodness! The most amazing match ever! So satisfying win!
Kenyon Freeman 张本就是中国人换了国籍
这样比赛才好看,有输有赢
As a person who actively practice harimoto’s style, i watch this video almost daily
Lol what is harimotos style? He seems to have quite an fast aggressive style, seems to stay pretty close to the table.
@@ex0duzz you have described most of it. it also invole de-spining the ball from spinny opponent by flat hitting the ball so that it is harder for opponent to spin it up again
Harimoto is growing stronger player and Xu Xin is amazing. This game was one of the best I've seen this year. I really enjoyed!
Xu Xin is an incredible player.
Besides Ryu vs Wanh Hao, this is the best game I've ever seen in my life.
Harimoto is getting dangerous day by day, how fast this boy could grow
Not that dangerous anymore
Xu xin is best example of sportsmanship n humility. It was a nail biter.
One of the best table tennis matches in recent history
Xu Xin, you are my hero. You always unpredictable. Honestly, Harimoto improves a lot. This is a very good game, very very exciting game not because Xu Xin wins, both players perform very well.
The best game of 2019.
+_+
Can’t expect what would happen in 2020 Olympic.
when Harimoto has the home crowd advantage as well
Harimoto will be a year stronger and wiser. Home ground will also give him the advantage. CNT will have a very tough Harimoto to fight.
Make that 2021
cmcf6367 haha the Olympic is delayed cos of the virus
I heard for the first time today "Chole"from Xu Xin
what a game ladies and gentlemen, what a game. Harimoto smote and pounded fierce as fire and at times it seemed as if he had power sufficient to dominate his opponent but Xu when it mattered blew through him like wind through dust
what an incredible fight!!! i really scared if HT beat my favorite player XX. HT is amazing, XX is Xuperman 🐉
This is one of the best performing matches that Harimoto has played, but Xuperman's mentality is just unbelievable. I thought FZD has the best chance for the Olympic games next year, but man, I wish XX will win. He definitely deserves it.
15:41 Harimoto had a seizure after his imminent celebration was disrupted 😂
I can't unsee that now
harimoto's forehand has improved so much and I was so surprised that he had some good forehand rallies against xu xin with worldbest fh
but he really wanted to win the game and hesitated to use fh as the game went toward the end, which was why he lost in a so close match
i thought Xuxin' s serve quality was somehow dropped, then saw the comments of his wrist injury.
xu xin is really amazing, unbeatable man! Harimoto is also very prodigy and played such close game with Xin, really impressive!
すげぇな、現代卓球の最高峰じゃないの
打的真好!许昕!观众紧张的停止呼吸 许昕还可以那么冷静 采取主动救下两个赛点 真服了你
Xu claimed his wrist has straining issues since Day 1 of competition. The match has been fixed and difficult to reschedule. It affected his BH and serve variations. It was also his 3rd matches of the day. There was also a medical time out to tend to his wrist problem at game 7.To win under such circumstances, show the strong mental strength of XuXin
Everyone is talking about XX but I am surprised that Harimoto continues to improve his techniques and his strategy.
And his lungs capacity
Respect. This Harimoto kid really amazing
Year of the cloud walker!!! Elegant, gentleman style of playing. What a nice technique. Pure entertainment to watch. Congratulations to you Mr Xu, Sir.
