If someone chooses to play it that close, they have the same odds of not making it. Could always change the rules and proclaim a net ball during play a let as well if there's some misguided sense of unfairness about it.

个人愚见。大蟒喜欢退台加转打相持，摩托喜欢近台弹击。加转自然是控制感更强也更有变化艺术感，但是动作太大给对手的反应时间过多，导致近台弹击方有足够时间准备。所以如果加转不彻底，或者落点不刁钻，是很容易被反制的。相反，那些加上转的球弹击方很难控制落点和轨迹，非常容易回击失误。总结下来，在拼狠劲，谁气势盖过对方，出手果断，谁就大概率获胜，一旦犹豫就容易输
