Interesting that you have noted the fresh juice menu is actually available on the Luminosa. I looked hard when I was looking for the right ship and didn’t find that info anywhere! I know there are some people like myself who choose Splendor for this reason. This opens up another option, fantastic!
I love my Indian food and I have it at least once every cruise and can't wait to try Carnival Luminosa next month it is the first time I have been on Carnival
Thanks for watching! If you love Indian food you definitely do need to try Masala Tiger! We all really enjoyed the food on Carnival Luminosa too, I’m sure you will have a ball!
Hi Amy We just got off a family cruise 10 days ago on The Carnival Splendor. A couple of days were rainy & everyone in the midship pool area, who were enjoying a movie, had to move undercover due to the bad weather. We were confused as this area has a retractable roof. Do you know, please if the retractable roof is broken?
Thank you for watching. From what I’m aware they are only able to open and close the roof when they are at port. I’m not sure of the exact details but that’s what I’ve heard.
I would be happy with either! Not interested in casinos or waterslides, just happy to be on a ship!
Thanks for watching! I would be exactly the same if it wasn’t for the kids.
The luminosa is sailing from Sydney now, I am going on one next week from Sydney.
Thanks for watching. That’s exciting!!
She is in Sydney for about 6 weeks I believe before returning to Brisbane.

Thank you for watching! You would think they would update this on their website if they do offer it. I’m glad I could bring it to your attention. 😊
Awesome comparison. Both ships have a casino so we would be happy with either 😂
Haha, well in that case, my suggestion is avoid Disney. 🤣
@@CruiseCrazedFam oh definitely!!
😂🤣😂

We are trying both soon. One of my kids likes the slides but the other doesn’t. Ultimately it came down to the itineraries
Thank you for watching. I’m sure you will thoroughly enjoy both cruises.
Thanks Ami.
Thanks for watching. ☺️
Great Video. Do you think either ship will leave from Melbourne one day ?
Thanks for watching Albert! I really hope so but it’s not looking likely for the near future at least. 😢

I want to try Lumi to compare and experience, but the kids love there water parks
You would love it.
No waterslides is a deal breaker for us. Luminosa needs an update
Yes I definitely agree. When I explored the top decks it did not feel like a Carnival ship to me.
I want to try Luminosa for the taco's but Splendor is just a train ride away for me.
Those tacos are almost worth it… lol 🌮
I'm on the Splendor right now and apparently a break out of gastro on the ship.
Oh no. Sorry to hear that! Wash your hands and stay well.
that would really give me the shits
You look like a carnival cruise rider
I do love a Carnival cruise. Thanks for watching.
