There is a lot more as far as play ground and toys… seems less sterile and more comfortable.

I stayed in an in pride cabin on that Halloween cruise And one little new feature I found was lighting at the bottom of the wardrobe door, not sure if it’s in balcony cabins or other cabins either but it helped big time not having to turn on the cabin lights to find the bathroom at night

Yes I did! Not actually Halloween but October. They made some great upgrades for sure.

@ the changed the carpet in a few areas. Modified one small area of the casino. Put in a shaded area around the bar on deck 11.

It’s sad saying farewell to this ship but we have built some incredible memories on her.

I could be wrong but I believe some cruise lines have banned them? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thankfully the chat works great on the Carnival Hub app.

Funny thing is on this cruise, in this cabin, my suitcase does fit under the bed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have plenty more videos and vlogs that may help you out. Don’t worry about the movements from the ocean and usually there isn’t any shuddering. The ships swaying usually isn’t bad, most of the time you forget you are on a ship. Of all our days at sea, we only have a few we really felt. The key is not to focus on it and just enjoy yourself. Take your medication before the ship leaves to be safe.

Thank you for watching. Not yet but we are hoping to. Unfortunately they have been a little out of our price range especially once we add the cost of flights for our family. I have been looking though and will keep my eyes out for a good deal.

I completely get where your coming from as Carnival's prices were more enticing, given it was our kids first cruise l was concerned about seasickness so wanted to go as big as l could.

@ I understand that too! Although our first few cruises my son had a couple of days were he got a little nauseous, the last 10 odd cruises we haven’t had any sea sickness issues within our family even with rough seas. As soon as the right opportunity comes up we will though.

It’s a real shame isn’t it. Hopefully we get something soon down here.

Thanks for watching, Yeah I’m aware of that but Brisbane still have encounter year round and we have nothing. Being Australia’s second city, I really think we need something down here, just need our government to try to attract ships rather than pushing them all away.

It’s good to hear your experience also. Usually I try to default to food on the menu that is least likely to have dairy and usually I’m pretty safe. Low sodium should be easy. I just really think they need to work on training their crew more on allergies, it shouldn’t be that difficult really. Either way, I’m sure you will still have an amazing time on Splendor like we do! And

If I could have my time over again I would have loved that!

Thank you for watching. Yeah that’s why we avoid interior on Splendor. We haven’t done one yet but that’s because we know how cramped that layout would be. We would rather spend a little more for the layout of an ocean view or balcony. It’s much better and gives everyone more room to move. We would only do interior if it was just two of us or if it was a short cruise and there was a decent price gap.

There is definitely lack of consistency throughout the Carnival fleet already but even more so after the merger. It’s a good thing for loyal P&O customers that not too much changes but it’s definitely not your typical Carnival experience. Either way, we will go in with and open mind and I’m sure we will still have a great experience.

The drinks range from roughly $16-24. It’s really up to the individual. We only have a couple of drinks a day and often we don’t drink on port days so for us it isn’t worth it but for others who can consistently drink a decent amount it would be. I hope this helps.

Thank you! Yes unfortunately that series didn’t end the greatest but the good thing is we have had 2 awesome short cruises since and we have a couple more P&O & Carnival cruises this year as well as Princess and Celebrity! It is an exciting year for us!

@ yeah I manage an AF. I’m guessing your daughter does too? There is over 500 clubs Australia wide and we are all franchised so I don’t know too many any other club managers unfortunately.

@ yes she manages the Tallawong gym, and previously was at Mt Druitt, she’s only 20! She loves her job there :)

Overall, we had great cruises on her and the current entertainment staff and performers are amazing! Unfortunately though, the ship itself does feel rather tired and a little like they are letting it go. As long as you are going on there and enjoying the experience rather than focusing on the condition of the ship, you will have an incredible time.
