    Try Obsidian AI with copilot plugin linked to an Openrouter account with Claude 3 opus beta as default model. You can let the LLM snapshot your entire project or work with as many or as few individual files as you want.

      Yeah, you can use any model pretty much. You just add api keys. And for paid models just use openrouter api and set default model there. The obsidian plugin is called copilot and the dev has a video about it on youtube.

      @@RickMulreadyThanks Rick! This was an excellent presentation! I will be trying it. But this is my concern on all of these new AI Systems also. WHERE is my own extensive personal research data going? In my case, it is the last four years of very hard research effort in my life. I cannot believe the greedy monetized "Corporate Borg System" would be so highly Moral! But, if so, great! THAT is truly a breakthrough for Naked Capitalism! I've been unsuccessful at using the upload from Drivce to upload anything except Google Docs ( no sheets or PDF files ). How about just letting me create one Google Drive folder and loading that folder with all the documents I want to use as opposed to uploading them one by one.

    Respectfully, I think you´re using the term "unique" a wrong or misleading way. 99% of all AI writing tools can generate "unique" content but that doesn´t mean it´s content you would like to publish on your money site. There´s a big difference between "unique" and "high quality"; I believe it´s what you´re referring to.

  • @AtomicPixels
    @AtomicPixels 7 місяців тому

    Notebook LM doesn’t support any actual datasets. You’re not fine tuning anything based on “your style”. You’re simply uploading content to be retrieved using context injection. All that does is allow you to basically google your own notes with some NLP summary. The Ai model is literally unchanged by your data. So how does this help you write in your own style? It doesn’t. Because your style isn’t a concept the LLM is built around without a fine tune.
    You haven’t even begun solving your actual objective with this and it all seems like a huge waste of time overthinking what you can do already in Notion or Craft, or any other markdown app these days.

    • @RickMulready
      @RickMulready  7 місяців тому

      Appreciate you sharing your thoughts. The video isn’t about style, it’s about helping create unique content. For me, I’ve not been impressed so far with Notion’s AI search but I’m hopeful it gets better as it’s still in beta.

      1. Custom instructions? If 1500 characters total and no RAG/extensive context is sufficient, sure.

      Super limited with custom instructions due to length, and really not even how they're used. And I don't want to have to create a new GPT every time I have a new project. Also, many people don't want to pay the $20/mo for Plus, where NotebookLM is free. Do appreciate you watching!

      The $20 a month is well worth it to me. I have several custom GPT's setup that work together with a series of Python scripts that I asked ChatGPT 4 to write for me that automates every step of the process in generating images, animating, writing and editing my UA-cam videos.
      I'm currently working on another project through ChatGPT 4's custom GPT's as agents called laZytype, a program which takes voice commands to perform actions and tasks on a Windows PC. It also tracks eye movement and uses polynomial regression to translate that to mouse movements on the screen.
      ChatGPT is truly a world changing tech.

      To each their own. No need to degrade a person who just wants to share his experience.

    Nobody cares if your content is "unique" they care if it's valuable. It's only valuable if it's yours.

      If it's yours, and thus means it's valuable, does it being yours mean it's unique?

    This video is a thinly-veiled advertisement for Google's Notebook LM tool, masquerading as an informative tutorial. The presenter spends an excessive amount of time hyping up the tool's capabilities while glossing over its major limitations. He claims it can automate content creation and make workflows faster, but fails to demonstrate any truly groundbreaking features beyond basic note-taking and querying. The real "bullshit" is the presenter's attempt to portray a glorified note-taking app as a revolutionary AI content generator, when in reality it simply regurgitates information from your own uploaded sources without any true creative input or finished content production capabilities (at least not yet). The video is essentially a long-winded sales pitch trying to convince viewers that a fairly basic tool is a game-changer for content creators.

    From this week authors can also create podcasts for their books! Here's one example of BooknoteLM at work: A podcast on how to write a book in 2025 in just a few minutes! Amazing!! I just created a UA-cam channel to post it: ua-cam.com/video/Onh_ics4rXs/v-deo.html
