Every time you teamed up with Manuel, the 2 of you made a decent profit. This is another successful joint venture. Both of you will at least double your investment in this treasure trove of vintage to antique merchandise. Good collaboration.
I know you like the covers of the sheet music for art, but I like it for the music. I'm a full time pianist. This is the kind of music that I play at the nursing homes. (not right now, due to you know.)
Here in Australia, and your market may be very different, the good collector's money in sheet music from turn of the century to the 1930's tends to be with the commemorative subjects, such as songs and music that celebrated early aviation pioneers, sporting heroes or events, or disasters etc. Early nice cover artwork can also sell but it's value here is well below those type of items. "Our Don Bradman" for example, celebrates a very good cricket player, who raised the spirits of Australians during the great depression, and will pull a comfortable $200 here, tidy examples of the music celebrating early aviators probably pull about $50 each. A bit later, and the rock and pop sheet music of the 1950's 60's and 70's are developing a decent following, and probably follow roughly what the record market has been doing in recent years.
Thank you I learn new things every day about products I have never seen in my life. I have been selling vintage products for 4 years. During this time sales give me a lot of hope
Finally a video!! I check your page everyday, Pirate goes way to fast for me. You show thing so we can get a good look at them. I miss your videos!!! I am in LOVE with this locker!! Everything in it is awesome but the bed.
I sold one of those little dolls to a collector. Had no idea what to charge. The collector asked if I would accept $200. Keeping glee in check, I agreed. Yes, I know, if the collector was willing to pay $200, it was worth a lot more. However, if I sold it for $3 to $5 to the general public, I would have lost a lot more. Don’t auction them unless you know you have some doll collectors bidding. Ebay them.
I like your partner the pirate. He is a diamond in the rough. I like the way you two work together. Good Job. I am willing success for you both. Much Love
I was just watching antique road show, I think you and Pirate found some old tobacco cards; if so, the value was in the $20,000 for just 8 cards! Please have them evaluated with an antique dealer. Good luck.
Just set up the camera and we will watch you both live.you are killing us with Anticipation,This locker is to exciting for short videos. Keep up the good work. Your junkie buddy, Lenny
Fill us in, how do you split a unit? Everything seems to be going into Pirates truck. I would never feel comfortable splitting a unit. Also don’t always take someone else’s guess on value, like the dolls do your own research.
God bless you and your family and another great video and thanks for sharing and keep them great videos coming and this is awesome great finds to and I send you and your love ones lots of blessings and always stay bless
I have been waiting for this video.seeing that copper kettle took me back to my child hood, my gran had the same one really lovely cleaned up.also those dolls are old.take care of yourself.
Travel dolls don’t usually have high value. Usually sold as a doll lot is best and just in case there is a valuable doll in the lot, a collector will spot it, so take a few clear photos. The Bride doll with the original backing should be sold in a separate auction, as a side note bride dolls rarely had a groom unless your talking paper dolls. The bride doll might have markings on the head near the near the neck.
I had a question about splitting units. Do you guys split the merchandise then keep whatever you sell or do you sell everything off and then split the profits? You don't have to post it publicly or reply if you don't want to it was just a question.
That was a beefeater doll, they are in The Tower of London(the real ones!). That is what they do in a bullfight, they kill the bull with those sticks, it is an extremely brutal "sport". Maurice Chevalier famous French guy, actor and singer.😊
@@LockerNuts yes they are, I think that type of collection is much more common in the UK. My Aunt had dolls from all around the world in a glass fronted cabinet. I like the way you unbox Jack.🤩
I’d be interested in what the dolls sold for when you decide. Our father was in the military and my mother collected dolls while stationed in Germany. We have the bill fighter and flamingo dancer also plus many more. Cheers
What did you do with bull fighter and bull from Barcelona? My father was in the Air Force and he was in Germany 1950’s. He and my Mom would travel around Europe and we had many dolls from many countries. Dolls from Greece, Belgium, Spain etc
Gr8 find's Jack... The Stiletto knife is really cool and I don't believe that it's illegal to own in Midwest but not sure about the West Coast the best coast...lol...😂 Well done guys... Stay safe homie's...👍💕🔥⚾😷
Hi! I think the guy was make a lot of trip and he buy dolls every where to collection it. You'll make money because, the guy was a collectionner buyer.....dolls, sports cards and what else? ....You'll see
2 of the dolls are from the Netherlands/Holland. My uncle sent them to me when he was in the Navy. I love the way you and Mike share the joy of your finds. The books were a very interesting find.
How are you going to clean the copper kettle? We have a huge Mexican Comal that we haven’t been able to get shinny. And we have tried a couple of products. I don’t know what my husband plans to cook in it but he will do it in the backyard
this unit is like a time capsule. its interesting watching yall open it. thanks for sharing. I love your channel.take care and how are yall faring with the dust issue?
The Paris knife seemed to have a bee on it. If so it is a Laguiole knife. Could have value. Think the Black Magistrate is an original Italian stabbing stiletto knife.
Usually, a split unit is divided by each person choosing what they wish to keep (agreed on by the parties), the rest is sold. From the proceeds, each gets their investment back, the costs are deducted, and the remaining proceeds are split equally between the joint purchasers.
Hi from Australia. I love watching you two guys. You both have different knowledge on different things you work well together.

Maurice Chevalier was a movie star. People collect sheet music, especially famous people's.
Those dolls are really old. Good find

Maurice Chevalier was probably most notable in my age-group for singing THANK-HEAVEN, FOR LITTLE GIRLS, AND GIGI FROM THE SAME MOVIE.
Amazing finds.

Klumpe dolls can be worth quite a bit. Check out sold on eBay.
Hi Jack how long have this stuff been in this locker? ( Sorry I should have read your intro before I commented).
How do you split up the items you find in the locker.
We do it the easy way; sell everything and split the money.
sheet music like that is moree than the cover. People use it as wallpaper and decoupage
switch blades are super illegal in NJ
milk glass is $$$, i think your sheet music is from 30 s and 40 s $$$,
The dolls look like Dolls of the World, like from each country.
I went to the 1964-65 World's Fair
That’s awesome!
How or where do you sell the items
any old dolls from different nations, dolls that roll their eyes are old like 50 s and 60 s or older are worth $$$$
Omg love it 😎🥰🥳💰🥳🇩🇰😷🌈
Hey Jack
Howdy!
The old dolls may hold value. Who is the maker? It should be on the back of their necks or maybe on the foot or butt
How do you divide equally
Usually, a split unit is divided by each person choosing what they wish to keep (agreed on by the parties), the rest is sold. From the proceeds, each gets their investment back, the costs are deducted, and the remaining proceeds are split equally between the joint purchasers.
