Everything needs a wood panel option tbh.
Tough 80s wood
Frankie ive only been a fan since your cinemassacre stuff and I've recently been going through your old videos. I saw one from a couple years ago and I was shocked to see how big you used to be. You look so incredible now I never would have guessed that you underwent a major weight loss and I have to say you look incredible! Great job man! I recently put on a few myself, how did you go about it, just lots of exercise and cutting out junk food? Again so proud of you, you look incredible man!
Thank you Kenny - I made a whole video about it!

I hate to be that guy but the IR bar for the Wii is actually an IR emitter and not a sensor. It just emits two IR points of light that the controller uses to track movement. In a pinch, you can actually use two candles in front of your TV/Monitor and it works the same.
Yup. Need a switch looking one with a big screen for home and then a Gameboy small one for on the go
I wish I would have known about the sale before it was over
I have the abernic too, decent little handheld
Rewind > save states, somebody finally said it
Heck yeah Master Of Darkness. I had that game as a kid, and have never actually played a Castlevania game to this day lol.
I watch Retro Game Corps (along with ETA Prime and Taki Udon) all the time so It's funny to see you talk about em.
The retro handhelds are so cool. I honestly think the best one from what I've seen is the Miyoo Mini. It's not for the 3D era of games and above, it doesn't have analog sticks, but it's basically perfect for everything 2D and incredibly pocketable. For the higher end games honestly you can just use a PS4/5/XBOX controller paired with your existing phone/tablet by itself or plugged into a TV, or a full PC or little TV box or micro PC (like EJ got).
The Steam Deck is the best way to play almost all forms of emulation portably, it's easier to setup than an lot of the same things on PC because of EmuDeck, but even if you have one I still think the Miyoo mini has value as a cheap add-on for low-risk portability and handing to family and friends. Because it's such a simple device, you basically set it up, drop your rom collection, and leave it be. Your phone can play the same games, but on a closed device like the Miyoo or the Anbernic, you don't have to worry about random apps conflicting, OS updates, migrating between phones when you upgrade, pairing controllers, etc.
I'm currently building a whole new gaming PC setup, new system/monitor/mouse/keyboard/controller... everything... so while a Steam Deck and Miyoo seem great, I'm not as drawn to them as I would be some other time. The Steam Deck in particular I think also has a ton of room to improve with a V2 (which I believe they already confirmed is in the works)... OLED display, HallEffect joysticks stock, user-accessible and longer NVME SSD slot, and a touch more performance, would make it genuinely unbeatable in the handheld PC space... so I would honestly hold off for a while if you currently have a decent way to play games.
Meh... my kid asking for a Steam Deck for Christmas won't know the difference.
Cool vid. Inspired me to order a rg353m. (Most recent offering from Anbernic) looks cool. ETA is Thursday. Looks cool!
I also own the rg351v p exact same one you have the wood grain it's my go to to bring along to work I think it's great! I call it "my grainboy" also you can buy a custom sticker to go over the ambernic logo then put screen protector on last
I still get a lot of use out of my PowKiddy V90. It's not powerful at all, but it's got the clamshell design and it only cost like 45 bucks. It's a good one to enter the scene with, I think.
I would prefer a Steam Deck personally (because having an insanely powerful handheld that can play pretty much every game I want was a big dream of mine ever since I played Snake on the Nokia 3310), but I can see where are you coming from - if you want 2D retro games (let's say the NES all the way to the GBA) on the go, those devices are pretty great.
What a great father making an emulation box for his son, unlike my uncultured xbox one and series s brainwashed son.
Great clip! I'm still hooked on the SupaBoy. I don't care how goofy I look; the thing just plays SNES carts, and I have a functional 68 in 1 cart that's honestly almost all I need. You dudes ever play with one of those?
Is it just me or does Louis and Niall from one direction sing directly though their nose? I honestly can’t take it
Frankie's reaction at 17:11 had me cracking up, it'd be a damn shame if y'all don't clip that
What, me going “whoa” in Beavis’ voice? 🤣
Could you put a steak knife thru it, in case you need to put a cord through the handheld
I love these emulation devices, but I'm running out of room in my place and everything is always cluttered. How do you guys find the room for all this stuff?
I threw Batocera onto an old laptop, but the Gamecube games often play slow or skippy.
Is it mostly an issue with CPU speed?
How fast do you want a CPU for GCN, Wii, Dreamcast, and PS2 games?
I've got an old modded PSP I've used for awhile but now I'm wondering if I should upgrade to something like this.
I wonder how Michael Matinée feels about your use of rewind
He'd be so displeased.
@@RedCowArcade you did by no means beat that game. he'll deal with you, bum
The gameboys Obama didn't want you to have
Jesus, these guys are O and A fans too? Wow.
I remember the original psp had a horrible blurring on the screen when you were moving.
