Great reaction. I love your comment "They're not trying to over stimulate, over complicate. They're not trying to do anything that isn't necessary for the song". Some other bands try to make it complicated because they want to show how good they are at writing complicated songs, but Band-Maid has never sounded like they're trying to do that. BM does it naturally, all the members are just trying to make the song better and perfect. That is what makes this band stands out from the others. Also, I have never seen the English lyrics, written by Japanese, literally makes Americans or British people cry. Thanks for sharing.

I will sound like a broken reccord since I said it on Ohrenje lyrics video, under their MV and another reactor, but between the lyrics by Miku and Saiki's voice, I can't help thinking that Miku wrote it thinking of Saiki and Saiki sing it thinking of Miku. I'm maybe way off, but in my head, that sound even more beautiful and powerful this way lol.
Miku's really good at writing lyrics that can fit different situations without sounding cliche, which is kinda difficult (though the freshness of the music probably helps too). I like all the possible interpretations and even more so the fact that there are so many that make sense 😊

From my understanding, Miku wrote all the lyrics. You can definitely hear Incubus's influence on this and it is no surprise and they co-wrote it.

Band Maid can do hard hitting and complicated music and rock the World. They can do tear jerkers and make you forget you are supposed to be grown up. Or they can adapt and make the simplistic sound work. There is nothing too complicated in Mike Einzigers music and the lyrics by Miku are sweet and nice. Akane makes the drums drive the song and improves the finished article no end. It works in its simplicity and after listening to it many times then it becomes a piece of comfort music. It literally makes the World a better place.

Great reaction as always.. I read and watched this video about 20 times. But, I am getting from Miku Kobato-Sans lyrics that she wrote the lyrics for Band-Maid. Dunk, if this is what heaven looks and sounds like, we had better clean up our acts! LOL! This video is beautiful in so many ways and ethereal, no angelic. The Maids, all dressed in white look angelic, especially Kanami, wither her gossamer lace "wings". She also takes us soaring into the heavens with her solo. This is such a stunningly beautiful visage from the foreground and background screens. The heartfelt lyrics penned by Miku really expresses what the bandmembers "besties" feel about each other. I hope this song and the associated video gets some airplay on radio and television. Band-Maid deserves a lot more recognition by the public.
