Welcome back! They have a lot of songs with jazzy parts in them, often just short little breaks even shorter than the one here in Forbidden Tale. Just something that they have access to, and can throw in, because Kanami knows when it sounds great in a song, and how to get in and out of those parts without great transitions (that descending chromatic part at the end of this one is a perfect transition, dripping with drama).

I just happened to be passing at 2:05am & thought "Ooh there's Dave". I officially love "Forbidden Tale" now. The middle section bridge just adds layer upon layer of awesome transitions into one beautiful epic chorus.🙂👋

There are so many different parts. Condensed into 4 mins it seems cluttered and too busy. Kanami should have made it into an epic song of about 6 or 7 minutes. Just my thoughts
