Home Free should continue covering the songs of the 60's and 70's, exposing a new generation to some of the great music they missed. I'd love an entire album.
At our VIP, Home Free guys said they want to start focusing on original content more.
I think a mix of original and covers of all genres from all times would be great - even (another) mashup. I keep thinking in my head of a rock, pop, disco, and metal mash into a country vibe - I think they could pull it off. These guys are so incredible and their harmony is surreal.
Imagine if Home free made a cover of "Creep" that would be breathtaking!
Home Free can do anything everybody's loves them. . I would love to hear more of the 50s and 60s music from them...There are so many great songs and they would nail every one of them to perfection.
It was nice to hear Adam Rupp singing too.

This is so far out of their usual videos and songs, it took us all by surprise but some of us heard them perform this off mic at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on April 6 and it was awesome. Chance had the concept for the video and Tim arranged it. So glad you enjoy what they do because we do too.
Magnificent voices so pure. They just makes smile. To me they are among the best vocal groups ever.

what makes this piece majestically haunting are their harmonies. Without the usual percussion and the rhythms, this is just too beautiful. It is simple yet elegant, haunting yet beautiful, plus the video gives you a really deep vibe. I love this arrangement!
Home Free are the most talented group. What they do is amazing. I'd like a reaction to Home Free - Mom for Mother's Day next week and more Home Free videos. Their version of "I Can't Outrun You" by Trace Adkins and "What We Ain't Got" are similar to this song and you should check those out. There are still many more Home Free videos out there and there's a new one coming as well
The song gives me chills. Their voices blend so perfectly. Tim gave a beautiful bass here. I melt when I hear his voice.
Now you need to watch, I Can't Out run you. Chance has the lead and did a wonderful job of a Trace Adkins song.

I was going to suggest the very same thing! Chances’ tone is just second to none!!!
This is my personal favorite from them. I think it is their best video of their's visually. Also, the harmonies in this one are way under rated and for some reason very few reactors have reacted to it.

The way they sung this song almost reminds me of Gregorian chants. The tonal quality and the harmonics to me are just beyond belief. I've been a fan of Pentatonix for a long time too and their song "Run To You" is kind of similar to this.

What I love about Home Free is everyone is a star. It's not about a couple voices that get all the glory but they give each other time in the spotlight.

The purity of their voices is more apparent when there is no beat boxing. Marco I love that you close your eyes to really hear them individually and together. And Ali, I agree, the slow build up was...perfection!

I KNEW ya'll would love this. I've been checking frequently for your reaction. Isn't it so stark in it's beauty? The Harmony is so tight and effortless, yet lush. I have found that if I sing next to the same person in a choir for a while, my voice can begin to take on qualities of their voice. These guys have been singing together for so long, and I think this may account for one reason they can blend so seamlessly when they choose to. What a stirring performance.

Chance requested they do this song. He also came up with the video concept and helped direct/produce the video. The other one he helped direct/produce is “I Can’t Outrun You”. Been asking for this for a while now because the video is so unique and well done. Chance is a very creative/artsy guy. I really think you will enjoy that one when you are able to get around to it just because the video is so different than their “norm”. Hope you guys get through your busy week ok! Glad you were able to do this one. 🙂
PS. This some is probably my all time favorite as well. I don’t understand why it hasn’t gone viral yet. Body chills. Lots of them! 🙂
I couldn't wait for this reaction as soon as I heard it on Patreon. I literally hear something new each time I listen. I also use it to teach. But I was right, Marco! Those harmonies! It is too short but so, so good. Thank you for reacting to this. Heads up, they've said that they are trying for two videos a month. So the new song should be out in a week or so, but this one is going to be hard to top for a time.

I have been looking for you guys to react to this since it first came out... so many adjectives can be used to describe what we heard in that short period of time (I had to loop it after first hearing it because it didn’t last long enough😊). It’s haunting and yet simply intricate (oxymoron?) ... Home Free does not get the credit that they deserve, IMO, but Austin once stated that Kenny Rogers told them (while recording ‘Children, Go Where I Send Thee’) that the slower the rise the longer the ride (I’m paraphrasing and not quoting that, but you get the idea). Thanks for reacting to this one, guys! While I really enjoy most all of the reactions here on UA-cam involving Home Free, I have a different level of respect for reactors with musical backgrounds... also, you don’t just toss out rainbows and cotton candy to get people to subscribe ... you stay true to your musical ears and give sincere feedback. It amazes me that not only are they all marvelous singers (and a beatboxer/singer) but that they are all so creative as well! Tim Foust and Austin Brown both write songs and they all contribute to arrangements. Their collaborations with other artists are terrific - I think they can adapt to any other singer or band. Is there anything they can't do??

I just heard this song for the first time about 3 days ago. I am so amazed. You're right, Tim IS a genius, but each of them is incredibly talented. I need to figure out how to play this on a thousand-time replay. The only other song that hit me like this is Superfruit's RISE. Outstanding!
