FATMA HASEKI SULTAN was not the second but 1st legal wife of Sultan Ahmed I. She was married to him in 1605 when both were teenagers. She was the daughter of Kuyucu Murad Pasha and together they had 3 sons and 1 posthumous daughter. Their 3 sons were Shehzade CIHANGIR, Shehzade HASAN and Shehzade ORHAN. All of them died in infancy. The only posthumous daughter ABIDE SULTAN (1618 - 1675) survived.
Can you explain more about her? I have talked to many people who deny the existence of her and according to her is just a false character in a French novel, but I read a story that she did exist, but I still do not have enough evidence to know if it is true. Do you know if there are any graves of her? or where can I find more information about her?
