  • In this video we see how we can easily create a Hyper-V virtual machine (VM) on premises and immediately upload it to the Microsoft Azure cloud.
    In just 15 minutes we see the 10 steps necessary to do it, from the creation of the local VM, to the Login in it once migrated to the Microsoft Azure cloud.

    A really good end-to-end demo, even showing the creation of the new VM from the image at the end. I also like when authors put the extra effort in to do the chapters to viewers can easily navigate to the key sections. Very helpful, thanks for posting.

    What is the advantage of using Azure Site Recovery for doing the same thing but in more complicated steps? Is that for doing regular site recovery vs one-time?

    Will Sysprep reset all the user setings? I want to migrate a terminal server to azure which already has many user profiles configured.

    Creating VM from the image keeps hanging by creating in the deployment. Do you have any idea? I did followed every step mentioned in your video.
