I'm sorry that you're struggling, and I hope that you're in your van very soon. Don't feel like you HAVE to figure "it" out. I'm about to turn 61 in a couple of months and I've finally figured out that figuring it out is a myth. You grow, and if you're patient, you learn stuff. But there's always more to learn...more to figure out. I suppose that's part of the journey. You are very brave to tackle your life head on the way you do. You don't have to be a warrior every minute of the day; being down is part of it. Take a minute to remember that and give yourself the credit you deserve. I'm glad you're here.
