When antistasi became popular me and a small group of friends started on apex on the highest difficulty, it took us a whole year, but it was the best arma experience we had ever
i know how you feel my friend and I took 3 months to beat altis, but only active for half the days, now we did pretty much every map, chenarus, altis, the maps on praire fire, vidda, vindicta, takistan, etc. and we got so good at it we beat the last too on 100 percent aim, on hard, with helmets shot off, and restrained everything within a week.
It's so sad that no other game has such a game mode. The fact that you need to collect everything, and the fact that everything you do affects the whole "war" is so cool.
Honestly speaking, when it comes to ice cream. I generally want to have a good cream based ice cream as it has a surperior texture and and mouth feel. When it comes to my preference if falvours, I usually tend to gravitate towards rocky road and rum raisin. I really enjoy the smooth smoky and fruity notes of chocolate mixed in with the refreshing min in the rocky road. I know that rum raisin might be a controversial choice, however I find the sweetness and caramel flavour of raisins and the dryness of the dark rum very tasty. If not given the chance of these more special ice cream flavours I tend to pick strawberry.
Antistasi is relatively fun with just a small group of friends, but I can't even imagine what it's like with a larger group, creating small squads and doing separate missions, calling for reinforcements, shit just seems like so much fun.
Antistasi is imo the best publicly available way to play arma, it does everything arma was made for, and you can either play for 30mins-1 hour, or spend 5 hours. And choose your own roles and everything. Would love to see more of this!
And I'd definitely rather see the whole journey, from police pistols and homemade shotguns, all the way up to paramilitary forces. Starting when they already have M4's, to me, just feel like Arma. Not Antistasi. I can't really get connected to the cause if I'm just *told* what happened and can't experience it for myself.

I love the part around 7:50 where the guy tries to shoot the light out and it doesn't go out. I've seen that literal thing happen in a real combat zone, the actual bulb in those lights is pretty small
Antistasi is a concept I think could also work really well as a co-op shooter outside of ARMA. The idea of being a civilian resistance going up against big military powers destroying your home is incredible.
A lot of the military games try to draw in players by promising "hey come play with the high tech toys the biggest militaries of the world use" but then a consequence of that is that you're usually playing on the side of some imperial power who has to drum up thin excuses for why that poor village in Africa or southeast Asia needs to be occupied.
@@SirKickz yeah. and those excuses can get *really* thin. I felt that when looking at gameplay for Grey Zone Warfare. Rocky Road. Also I know exactly how you feel. I used to rent an Arma 3 server to run Liberation CTI. Very similar in that you are fighting One Long War over months of efforts. And capturing, stealing weapons and vehicles was a big part of the fun. Building your forces over time was as well. The one advantage with Antistasi seems to be that you start from nothing, as basically bandits, criminals, taking from the cops and security guards, hoping the militaries don't even engage you yet. Imagine having to steal your first gun from the cops to fight a war with it. You can go to just about any rural American community and find enough guns to arm at least a full infantry unit, complete with snipers and designated marksmen. I know there are people around who could arm a squad all by themselves.
Kinda what you have to do in Vindicta, honestly... You start with a pistol and can find light, simple weapons in vehicles, but you get your first 'proper' firearms after raiding a police station or taking out the towns initial police force.

I just had a amazing idea while watching this. In the gamemode you have two teams that start off with weapons and fight for control over the land. If you want to get more weapons you go to a different map and play it like a extraction shooter and keep what you brong back.
You want icecream? Out of the cascades in the pacific northwest, I once had the best... vanilla with blueberry caramel swirl and chocolate covered pieces of waffle sugar cone. Real cream today... Tillamook is widely available. It's decent but they don't have enough good flavors.
bannana pudding ice cream is absolutely positively elite in every facet - from the rich and creamy white part to the sweet, fruity yellow part and all the vanilla wafers in between, banana pudding is truly an uncontested goat of not only ice cream flavors, but deserts in general.

please don't forget the dlcs. Trust me you won't regret it...with christmas discounts they are very cheap.
late comment but this game is basically a part time job dude only some people can put the time in to play it
As far a flavor of I’ve cream goes, up here in Alaska we have a ice cream called moose tracks, and it has a good, creamy vanilla, with chocolate swirl and mini peanut butter cups.
The thing I love abt these games is that u are not a super soldier or best of the best Ur just an average marine and that makes the game better
27:34 Area sign, I'm Greek and I have to say that I didn't expect to see this in such a game, is Crete also on the game map?
Altis is actually a 2:3 scale recreation of the island Lemnos!
Awesome i want this games yesterday 🤣🤣
I wish you guys would do this in arma reforger 😭
First rule of combat. Cover and move. I'd love to see your squad utilize this more.
Opening scene started with those 3-5 second rushes. I'm up, he sees me I'm doo...SHIIIIT!!!
"We have met the enemy and he is us. Let's move." 8:42 Fantastic new quote
The community version is so good I hope we get a Day-Z type release for Antistassi there's nothing like it
Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth
God Save the Queen!
I love watching videos like this cause I don't have the time/patience/rig to play these games.
absolutely love this series and it made me reinstall to finally try this game out, unfortunately do not have any of the dlc but i figure i might as well learn it first. i have watched other videos on arma 3 of yours and have always love the content. it is what i have always wanted to experience in a shooter game, ultimate realism.... i cant wait to see what happens in the other 2 parts and i do not know how i missed this antistasi episodes. thanks for being such a good content creator and entertainer. A++ on all your content. also the ending music was absolutely amazing!

@@crispy_338 What?
@@technomancer106 96 years old when life expectancy is 80… just in time before the cold winter, pretty sure it’s really hot where she’s now.
I have never played in your group, but most of the voices sound familiar...
Well if you ever need another medic.
28:48 what a legend only really brave people would do what you have done
I just had a amazing idea while watching this. In the gamemode you have two teams that start off with weapons and fight for control over the land. If you want to get more weapons you go to a different map and play it like a extraction shooter and keep what you brong back.
You want icecream? Out of the cascades in the pacific northwest, I once had the best... vanilla with blueberry caramel swirl and chocolate covered pieces of waffle sugar cone.
Real cream today... Tillamook is widely available. It's decent but they don't have enough good flavors.
my favorite ice cream flavor has to be salted caramel its just so good
Cookies & cream is a classic. Can’t go wrong.
Love this game mode. Seems super fun. Favorite Ice cream is actually vanilla custard with cookie dough, oreos and hot fudge.
I mean that’s a flavor of ice cream ysah
bannana pudding ice cream is absolutely positively elite in every facet - from the rich and creamy white part to the sweet, fruity yellow part and all the vanilla wafers in between, banana pudding is truly an uncontested goat of not only ice cream flavors, but deserts in general.
“It’s smoking like .””helli! “ haha so perfect but accidental at the same time haha
Dayz on ps4 had a server called CONQUEST it was kinda like this 24/7 war. I'd play and goto sleep and check it when I woke up and they'd still be going either gaining or losing spots.. pretty fun. I hope this scratches thst itch 🎉
27:02 is so low down, you said “bye tree snake” and the other guy said he’s a grass snake now 😂😂😂
18:40 I was waiting for someone to throw an actual grenade😂
