Lot of people blame Via for being unreasonable here. It’s something else she has in common with Blitzø. But like, Via’s just a kid. Who just saw the only family member she loved lay his head on the chopping block for someone he promised he’d never leave her for in episode 2. Stolas isn’t a bad dad at all, but he’s kind of absentminded and doesn’t always think things through, which makes him a little bit of a deadbeat sometimes.
It’s also not fair that Octavia demand her father choose familial love or romantic love, but, again, she’s a kid. Who grew up around Stella. It’s amazing she’s not MORE immature about it.
She's also asexual, so she might not understand the impact lust that lust has to play in the decision stolas made, not to say asexuality is bad or wrong, but it could cut out an important peice of the puzzle for this situation. Stolas and blitzo's relationship is built on both lust and love and that drove stolas the extra mile to make the decision he made.
She also doesn't know how shitty Stella is towards Stolas because he doesn't go complaining about her because he's not about badmouthing Via's mom to her. Stella doesn't care, but there is a chance she tunes out her mom talking shit most of the time and thinks it's justified because he cheated. It's really not because Stella doesn't care about the cheating only how it makes her look since it became publicly known.

@calebmaybin6896 I think the series will probably have a happy ending with Octavia and Stolas joining Blitzs am family because we weirdly see Blitzø kinda wants that aswell because that moment between Via and Loona was a very Sisterly moment and it would be a completely pointless scene if they do nothing with this.
I had no idea before this episode that I needed Stolas flipping out on a ridiculously strong desk 😂
It's nice to see Loona expand her friend circle with other Hellhounds she probably met at Beelzebub's party. That Honey Beer also seems to indicate she and Beelzebub have patched things up (she did try to save Loona and I.M.P. with a fair trial). Perhaps the two will have a heart-to-heart; even explain her crush on Vortex before realizing he already had a girlfriend and not wanting things to be awkward, and perhaps helping to patch things up with Via as I fear a civil war is about to brew with Asmodeus and Beelzebub joining the Imps and Hellhounds.
Also, this appears to be the first time we see Loona without her black toeless ankle sleeves; she has a similar grey pattern on her legs and paws.
Octavia knows her mother is terrible but she still wanted her family to be together. Now she’s stuck with 2 people that could care less about her and with Stoles getting his status/power taken away he probably can’t even get custody of her.
The lagging, and alien voice made this so much more entertaining 😂

so fun fact owls can apperntly tell when someone is pregnant sooo Stolas's reaction to Millie and Moxxie fighting could be either shock of them fighting or well cause Millie is pregnant fighting.
It's been confirmed there are 2 more seasons, next season having 15 episodes and will be a while. They have plenty of plotlines to hit. Stolas of course learning to be a normal person instead of a Goetia. Millie's pregnancy. Barbie and possibly Blitz's dad plotline. Imps seeing Blitz being the first to survive a death sentence and essentially sticking it to the man which could mean revolution. Octavia learning and growing enough to realize the truth. Stella and her brother pulling more shit. Bigger plotlines as well like the unresolved Ozzie and Fizz relationship reveal. That has to come up since Mammon was so sure Ozzie will regret it. And with Blitz escaping death it could draw unwanted attention. We also have not seen/heard more of the Cherubs and the DHORKS team. They can come back and cause more drama. So much can happen, I am pumped! Also they revealed there is going to be more Helluva Shorts coming!
I'm sure Crimson and Striker won't be thrilled to see IMP survive execution. Plus if Millie has a kid I can see Crimson kidnapping them to raise as a replacement heir since Moxxie dipped from his family business

Merry Christmas gents. This is one of the best Christmas episodes I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a lot of good ones.
You guys have to understand, if Via didn’t exist Stolas wouldn’t have any problems with leaving his wife. But with Via there he loved her and care for her and it was like a happy accident.
And ofc Via feels like “Oh you stayed because I came along, so it was more harder for you to leave” it some sort of way on how it’s played out it’s true and yet it’s not.
But no matter how you try to comprehend it, it just feels the way it is.
Also it is cliche that Mille rounded out preg-os and I feel that everyone’s going to know expect Moxxie. Buuut they’re not going to think about abortion because of their work environment.
(Even if it’s her choice, if she’s not ready to be a parent just yet).
It kind of is true, he literally said in the Circus that the only reason he stayed with Stella was to give Octavia a normal life.
I dont know why.. but... The way she acts gives the really weird feeling that the kid might not be moxxie's. Just a theory but... her reaction gives the vibe.
To be fair I don't think Stolas want Via to know that her mom tried to kill him so she won't get devastated by it, but I feel this is where the story will eventually go.

I may not be the first one to make this comparsion, but the Karen client reminds me of Stella. Even though infidelity and divorce is rarely a victimless sin, Karen chose to spend her time bitching and moaning and playing the victim card instead of striving to better herself, and she even went as far as to hire assassins to knock her ex off, not out of a need to see her daughter(s) but out of a petty bitter need to drag him down to her level.

Mastermind kinda sullied this episode for me.
How so?
@albertlewis4903 this is purely my opinion but I felt the whole thing felt rushed and too reliant on plot convenience.
Another thing is I felt like andrealphus's plan in mastermind was riddled with several holes like a fine Swiss cheese.
I don't get the feeling of andrealphus being a mastermind, it feels more like he had a bit of dumb luck the plan even worked.

The big one for me was Blitzo was about to be killed in Mastermind, then he gets off scott free, Stolas takes his place (because he happened to be scrolling through TV and saw the trial happening), and then Stolas is spared and just allowed to chill with Blitzo
