  • We had over 100lbs sweet potato harvSo we So we had a huge 100lb sweet potato harvest this last fall and needed something to help us use up our harvest. I asked for a commercial grade French fry cutter to help. This potato cutter is heavy duty and can handle the thick hard sweet potatoes a lot better than a regular French fry cutters. This cutter is high quality and will last for many years. We love French fries and this thing speeds up the process so much we can eat a healthier option for French fries that we grew in our own garden.

    Great job, good review, your home grown sweet potatoes were the business!
    I bought an air fryer recently and they make fabulous chips, with some garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper, they are delicious!
    Thanks for posting.

    I was told to microwave sweet potatoes for a minute or 2 to make it easier to run through cutter

    Great review. I've grown different types of potatoes but never sweet potatoes. Where do you get your seed stock from? Do they grow the same?
    Thanks for the video!

      We grow our own slips and we use Beauregard sweet potatoes. We got a video on growing slips. You can buy some organic sweet potatoes and grow your own

    Do you still like it? Are you finding that the blades are dulling after cutting lots of sweet potatoes?

      I love it but yes the sweet potatoes are tough on it I decided to do smaller potatoes or cut the larger ones down before running them through. It is a bit of a cleanup. That’s the biggest headache so do a lot to make it worth having to clean it.

    Do you have to Peel The Skin Off The White Potatoes First .

      @GrainFreeHomestead  Рік тому

      Just let white potatoes dry out you don’t have to peel them just don’t eat the green potato skins
