If you mount many tires yourself, this is a tool any diy garage should have. I also have a manual tire machine. I don’t need it to mount a tire but it sure makes it easier to do myself. You’ll find there aren’t many people who mount their own tires, period. I’m not getting any younger and this bead blaster is now 20 years old and has seated the beads on dozens (at least) of tires, even stubborn zero turn radials that pop off the bead a few times a summer.
It's not a DIY trick when you use a bead blaster manufactured and sold expressly for that purpose.
