Both Aoashi and blue lock are fire. Both have realistic components. In blue lock, they are exaggerated a lot, making everything more hype. However, in Aoashi, everything is 100% possible and realistic. It’s whatever you like, as someone who played football growing up, I really enjoy both.

Watched Blue Lock before and it's great. The unique story, animation, hype, and etc. Then I discovered Aoashi. Great story, learned a lot about football to youth development, tactics, positions, roles, leagues, how hard to become a pro and etc. After I watched Blue Lock I read the manga and same for Aoashi. I mainly play basketball but these two anime made me want to know more about football and I think both are great.
Dayz and Ao Ashi are those that show how frustrating football can be and that you have to work your ass off to improve and be able to compete, Blue Lock is for me a Spokkon Shonen that is really fun to watch and finally Tsubasa is my childhood and the childhood for millions in South America and Spain, Captain Tsubasa holds a very special place in my heart

Ao ashi focus on team experience football while Blue Lock focus on individual experience while showcasing every characters both showing good story but if you want to understand and be good in real life try to understand what Blue Lock trying to say in it's story it's really giving us a hint on how could we achieve our dreams using ego alone
Ao ashi, Giant Killing and Days doesnt get market. They are definitely top of the tier if they have longer episodes. Im following them in manga. Major is also masterpiece, sadly its doesnt focus on minor characters but have amazing character development of Daigo from his father to his son. Same as Knight in the Area, Blue Lock is definitely unique, Sayonara no Cramer is underrated too. I dont watch older football anime series yet or sports, but im backtracking them in my watchlists. Once i finish Baseball/Car Race genre.

Captain Tsubasa first series...and Days. in my opinion were the best... why? because it was all about soccer..no superpowers and other things just soccer and character development.

I loved Ao Ashi, immediately went to read its manga after the anime. The Drama, the side characters, love triangle all of it was good, maybe 10/10 manga. Now that that's out of the way, Blue Lock on the other hand is peak beyond peak. Still its the best ever manga I read and if I could I would give it 11/10 on all platforms. Its the ideal series for me since I fail to guess whats going to happen all the time, its original beyond belief and the concept of Ego has always been at the center of my life, its such and interesting emotion. Not to mention Isagi is probably one of the greatest MCs I have ever read. Ty for coming to this glazing session

my fav before blue lock was obviously captain tsubasa since i saw that as a kid, but after that my fav was Area no Kishi before Blue Lock released. Someone else relates to Area no Kishi too? It always brings me so many memories about my life with soccer.

I loved Ao Ashi, immediately went to read its manga after the anime. The Drama, the side characters, love triangle all of it was good, maybe 10/10 manga.
Now that that's out of the way, Blue Lock on the other hand is peak beyond peak. Still its the best ever manga I read and if I could I would give it 11/10 on all platforms. Its the ideal series for me since I fail to guess whats going to happen all the time, its original beyond belief and the concept of Ego has always been at the center of my life, its such and interesting emotion. Not to mention Isagi is probably one of the greatest MCs I have ever read.
