@Go Daddy - customer care support is pathetic. Though the support team is available on a Sunday afternoon or Sunday Night, they are very rigid individuals who do not give a genuine support with a Human touch. Even when you are logged in Go Daddy client dashboard, during the chat support, their team asks for information like Customer ID and PIN. I AGREE PIN IS CONFIDENTIAL, but being logged in their client account and they ask for your Customer ID seems to me a wastage of time.Customer support is too pathetic and Please do access TRUST PILOT reviews to have a deeper insight of what they do with their customers. I would never ever Buy Domains or Hosting from Go Daddy in future bearing in mind the Experience I have witnessed in the past. Sorry for the Typo.🙏

Side note... growing a UA-cam channel and monetizing it IS much harder than anyone will tell you. It's not impossible, but it's not easy either. This is why your #1 priority is building a channel around something you are passionate about first...

@@archvaldor I'm really happy that you said that because it's so hard to focus on getting more subs when you have so many things associated with production quality to learn and address. It's been very hard to get to where the channel is at. There was SO MUCH to learn production wise and scripting good content. I'm almost at 40 videos and still not exactly where I'd like to be video quality wise.

I have had this goal for 6 years. It’s so difficult to juggle UA-cam and a full time job that I have right now. I’m monetized and I’ve made about $300 this past year. I have the goal of making $3000 a month
I agree. I’ve been doing UA-cam for 7 years. But I also work full time. In the beginning I posted every single day like everyone says you need too. Up every night editing before bed and trying to learn new ways more exciting ways to Edit. Etc..
Now I feel pretty burnt out and only post once a week, if that. It’s definitely not for everyone.

3 months ago, I quitted my 9-5 day job to make UA-cam my full-time job and get a part-time job instead. To be honest, I know deep in my heart, that will be the BEST decision I've ever made in my life.

having a content calendar is for real a game changer for consistency!! I started seeing the most growth on my channel I ever had when I made a content calendar and stuck to it! it helped me to get monetized!

You’re the only UA-cam expert channel I follow simply because of your honesty & relatability. I like how you’re open about the struggles of starting & growing a channel. I’ve seen other videos that never go in-depth about the difficulty of actually starting from 0.
I’m sure you hear this all the time but you’re probably the MOST inspiring UA-camr I’sver Ever come across. Your videos lift me up and inspire me to be better both as a person and in my career. I have a lot of issues with depression and I’m really insecure to the point that I don’t believe I’ll ever be successful. But every time I watch you it’s as good as going to therapy and I mean that because I’ve been in therapy for years lol. All I’m saying is I look to you as someone I aspire to be like (even though we’re probably the same age). I’m also genuinely happy for you and how successful you are but more so what a good person you are on the inside! This probably sounds so silly because I don’t know you personally but feel like I do. Either way I want to start my day with spreading positivity as is inspired by you! Thanks for all of the hard work you put into each video, the effort doesn’t go unnoticed. I kicked off my channel a couple of years back, but nailing down a niche I’m super into has been a bit tricky. It’s probably what’s holding me back from really taking off on UA-cam. Plus, when you’re not totally vibing with what you’re doing, motivation tends to take a nosedive. I hope I can find my niche fast. This video gave me the boost to start again! Thank you!!

I mean lets be real its mostly just luck whether or not you pop off on youtube, like you said its better to just do it as a hobby with a slight chance to make some pocket change, only a tiny portion of people will be able to make enough to make it a full-time job regardless of how good your videos are.

First of all, I would like to say to Cathrin you look beautiful in this video. You usually have your hair back, but you have such beautiful hair! But, I also know it's super hot and humid here in the South so I don't blame you at all for having it up a lot ha
Anyway, I started my YT channel in January 2021 and have already made some money from it. I'm now at 131 subscribers (and climbing consistently) and through an affiliate link that I already had as a customer of this brand anyway, I have referred other people and made money. You don't need Amazon to do it or huge amount of subs.
When I first started my channel, I basically binge-watched your videos along with Think Media, Tips with Trena, and Virginia Kerr as well. Y'all have helped me SO MUCH and in such a short amount of time my videos have significantly improved. Thanks so much for what you do!

My 3 tips for making UA-cam your full time job:
1. Find a niche with moderate to low competition
2. Provide value, stay consistent and upload at least 1 video every week
3. Find multiple ways of making passive income (adsense, affiliate links, merch)

I started youtube because I enjoyed making videos, editing and videography in general. But now yes I want to become a full time youtuber cause yeah nothing is better than doing what you loved as a full time job. Even though right now am studying at university and being a chemist is another dream of mine but being your own boss and just being a youtuber is fun for me as well as a big dream. So yeah if i get to become a full time youtuber i would surely choose youtube and a big thank you to you Cathrin and other youtubers in your niche for inspiring me to keep going and provide us with great advices.

If you want subscribers! You need to be consistent with your uploads! Daily uploads will bring people coming back to your page. Staying up to date with all social media!

Not sure if that's enough to stand out and grow an audience, but I'm gonna test it out and try!
I feel like the hard part is understanding that, even if UA-cam is not your only full time job, depending on your niche and how often you release videos, it can still take up at much time as a full time job.
I would love to grow my channel into my only job at some point, but for now, I'm basically working two full time jobs.

I did an apprenticeship as a housekeeper which include cooking and being it my hobby too, I decided to start a UA-cam channel. I really wish to make it a full time job but still trying to figure how to go about it. Thanks for always sharing your experience. I enjoy watching your video.

I've started my channel in January and you were that push I needed to just start! I'm at that stage now where I'm feeling discouraged seeing that my channel is growing extremely slowly even with me being consistent and posting every single week.
