Quality may good but nothing compared to the early DGG recordings from 1961 to 69 which were made on the tube telefunken M10 recorder with telefunken mikes. Somehow those earlier DGGs of 1960 or earlier sound grittier...perhaps it's the choice of tubes in the chain. Sounded like Phillips or Amperex tubes to me, whereas later recordings used telefunken tubes.
