Adam, this is great stuff. I'm a horn player but have loved McCoy's style since I was first interested in jazz. This is the kind of thing I rarely see, compared to the amount of stuff on standards, getting your head around this amazing modal/pentatonic sound. Please do some more (maybe you have). Btw, I think his solos on The Promise on Live At Birdland is one of his stylistically best.
