Man I've been listening to your instructions for months, and this one is just as good or better, no they are all good; better each time you posts.
Just bought your Major Scale tutorial. Changing my life.
Adam...I have 5 or 6 of your courses and watch all of your youtube stuff. I really appreciate your knowledge and teaching style! Thank you!!!! Rahman, Delaware
I did this on Double bass! What a game changer! Thanks!!

How did you manage to adapt this on double bass, since you can’t play clusters? I’m curious, being a bass player myself.
Not sure why that comment went here? I was talking about another of Adams tutorials! Weird!!
@@anthonykosoko7597 Ah! Ok! Yeah, that’s odd! 😂
@@sliverhandsonbasses I was actually replying to the The notes don't matter video.
@@anthonykosoko7597 the one on the rhythm? Killer video btw!
Useful on guitar! Many days I wished I was on a piano…
How did you do it on guitar?
The old Hammond Organ Guys call these "Grips." Check out Eddie Landsberg"s book "The 7 Secrets of Jazz &Soul."
Great recommendation! I’ve been working through the Jared Hall grips book, which is very informative, but a little too advanced for me. So far the first Eddie Landsberg book has been a great primer, filling in a lot of gaps with very helpful mental and physical exercises.
@@stysnappin It's also a Great approach to Bach's counterpoint. If you block out 4 notes in each hand, you'll see Bach is playing the first 4 notes of one mode against the first 4 notes of another mode. Start with the Two-Part Inventions. It's pretty Eye-Opening! Gotta love Eddie!
