@Pentonavalsolutions Yeah, I searched a lot and couldn't find anyone else saying it 🤯 I think it is a very good name for a watch brand, specifically for a rebel one like them, that gives us a super well built Tudor like watch for super cheap.
I’ve got the green version a beautiful British racing green , I love it . On the bracelet front I learnt very quickly not to use the pin remover “ chisel” it’s oversized , works with split pins but gets stuck in the hole on this bracelet ! I put some wd40 on the pin holes both sides , left overnight then the screw in remover pushed the pins out no problem , not far enough though , then used a thin sewing needleto push it fully out . Once sized correctly the pins push back no problem . I discovered all this after giving up on a Glycine pin and collar bracelet months before and putting a leather strap on . I tried again with the Glycine after my above success and it also worked a treat . I hope this helps other people in difficulty like I was initially . Thanks for the review , nice to have one’s decisions backed up by people like yourself .
Another banger of a review and banger of a watch. Yeah, you can’t go wrong with almost any San Martin. And now that they are doing original designs, look out watch world…
I'm not very interested on this specific design but the watch looks super well built and finished, would love one of those more original designs, great video! super informative and entertaining!
Well, I didn't like the whole Tudor thing at all, I selected this watch based on stats, and it won me over big time, there are some designs that isn't the same on picures or videos that when you have it on your wrist, and yes the finishing is outstanding.
Great watch, my 12 year old son picked this one out of their lineup & proudly tells everyone about his 'BB58 homage' ohh lah lah! Pretty sure his is 38mm & fits his g-shock baby-G wrist well after we retired the bracelet for a 007 NATO. The black one has the vintage brand font & is different to the other colours. Well worth the $.
I was so aversive to getting a watch that, with the exception of the movement and lume, is completely Chinese made. I had preconceived notions that distorted my reality. Last year, I took a risk and got my first San Martin, an SN004 L.E. The finishing, materials, and tight tolerances converted me. I still find it insane how my San Martin, a $230 watch, stacks up against my two Swiss Tudor dive watches. It’s that good. If I were balling on a budget, San Martin would be my go to. Their quality supersedes anything below, around, and even above their asking prices. It’s better than my now sold Seiko SBDC101 (JDM variant of the SPB143), a $1,200 watch. Good review. Keep it up 👍
Yeah, I think seiko just can touch them. You would need to spend way over 1k to get anything close, side by side with an Oris (2700 eur) he guy in the store was super impressed, this video has sold 2 watches and it wouldn't surprise me one was him 😅
hey man checked the link on your profile to the animal sanctuary, that's awesome I love animals too, we have a pitbull staffy mix rescue at home, we spoil her as anohter child 😅
@@CoolWatchesOnly that’s not my sanctuary. That sanctuary is sentimental to my wife and I, though, because we visited the precious pig sanctuary on that same lot of land. The former owner, Richard Doyle, a marine veteran, left a lasting impression on me. He is extremely intelligent, yet dedicated his entire life to rescuing pigs, a very intelligent specie. Prior to meeting him, I didn’t think much of pigs. Afterwards, I realized pigs are amazing animals, and how they are treated in factory farms should not be taking place. Anyway, that preserve was left to new owners. They are just as fantastic. And they have some of Richard’s former pigs. They also take care of other animals, whereas Richard was mainly into helping pigs. They’re great people. Thx 🙏
Push the pins on the band from the slightly indented end. The perfectly flush ends will extend out. Do not lose the collar as that’s what helps keep the friction on the pin from pulling loose and spontaneously falling out. Put the collar in the stable link attached to the watch and reinsert the push pin in the reverse direction you removed it on the link you’re reattaching to the band.
5 seconds in and already want to like and subscribe but just checked I already liked and I'm already subscribed 🤣 Awesome video man! you are doing some of the best videos on all YT keep it up!
Love this one... I'm too poor right now to get one but asap I'm getting one! awesome option for a holiday watch, about the brand, impressive that there is so much interest on a Chinese homages brand that was not only close but surpass them on a moment. and that other Chinese are trying to copy them!!! 🤯man you deliver some unique style and information and entertainment I only wished you uploaded more frequently

Saltwater is a B! 🤣 jokes apart nothing is truly 100% waterproof, water created the Great Canyon, if you want to keep it corrosion free you need to give it some maintenance. even for maritime professional equipment, awesome review man!
You are the first to notice that san Martín ( José de San Martín) was an Argentinian general , liberator of Chile and Peru From Spain.

I was THIS 🤏 close to put a strap on it!! But the bracelet is good at the end, I don't get why even some huge Swiss brands keep using this system.
@ccampbell1117 Thanks for the tip about wd40, very useful 👍

beautiful watch there are like 10 different variations of it, all with super impressive finishing.
Luckily I believe San Martin has fixed your bracelet complaints on most models.
Thankfully, it’s just a one-time issue. Another viewer suggested that applying some WD-40 overnight makes the pins come out more easily.
well I bought this one and had to go to a watch shop to get it sorted, not even with the wd40 trick but it was only 3 bucks at the end so no big deal

I placed all the bits in a little plastic bag, but I don't see why anyone would be using this system anymore
