Dominiq Live no sir no dash removal needed. you do needed to open your hood and look to the far upper left hand corner. you will see your TCM connector unscrew this completely then pull upward on the harness until it's disconnected. 2. go to the passengers side of the vehicle look under your glove box you will find your TCM and your car alarm modal located together unscrew the 8 my bolt, lift up and pull out. 3. release the quick release tabs from your TCM
Gerald Dial Just by looking at it, it seemed like it would be easier to get to if i just removed the dash panel...but after taking out 2 screws, I wasn't sure if that was necessary....I think i just need to get lower to take it out Right? Its close (behind) the OBD II port?
Do do you mean your ECU... IF this what you mean then follow the steps I initially sent you.... for your TCM, it's located front left floor panel beind the hood release panel.
Dominiq Live hey you should be getting an EEPROM ERROR code... I just had this the other day... this is a code when your battery is very week. it may say something like vehicle start at Battery disconnected. if so take your battery to auto zone, or O, Reilly's for a two to four hour charge. once charged you should be good to go. there's nothing wrong with your CAN sensors or your TCM
Do i need to remove the dash panel to get to where my TCM in my 2004 Jaguar Xtype is?
