1:34 I love how they open this episode up with the "new" Saul Goodman office design knowing how they end it showing us where Saul ends up in Breaking Bad.

7:09 It's not so much that Gus has all of the evidence, it's because Lalo did such a good job getting a duplicate of himself, including switching the dental records, that Lalo dying in the raid is so believable.
9:05 I love that the showrunners gave us this glimpse into what Gus's life could be if he wasn't so consumed by the drug business/revenge on the Salamancas. Giancalro does such a good job of showing us this intimate part that he keeps hidden from almost everyone. I also really love how you see his walls come back up at 13:22 and even more just before he walks away.
16:15 Nacho's dad really has it figured out and I think he made an impression on Mike. But Mike's problem is he's already in too deep and this isn't a profession you can just retire from.
16:56 I absolutely love how they just used Patrick Fabian's Instagram posts for Herald... err I mean Howard's service. It makes perfect sense to me that Howard would let loose and have fun when he gets away from the office. And in my mind, he took frequent vacations.
21:28 This scene is just so heartbreaking. Kim comes to realize... far too late, the consequences of the fun and games (which amazingly wasn't about someone losing an eye). And the realization that they can never resume the life they knew and loved happens hits both of them at the same time. Jimmy tries to fight it and Kim realizes she needs to move completely on by giving up everything she's known.
22:20 And now we finally see the full Saul Goodman in this show. To clear up the timeline a bit, Kim and Jimmy separated around June 2004. This Saul scene takes place around November 2005 or so. It's then in December 2008 where Saul Goodman meets Walter White.

Also, now that you've seen all of this, you should go back and watch the opening scene of 601. They put a ton of Easter eggs in Saul's house as the feds were cleaning it out, and many of those are not clear until you've seen this whole season.

I love that Jimmy and Kim shop at Walmart like the rest of us. I caught that great value yogurt being put back in the fridge. Lol
Jimmy and kim had a very interesting relationship. They were close yet not close and it was astounding. They treated their relationship like business, with some passion on the side. It wasn't until the end of their relationship that either of them said "I love you". Just like the song from season 4, "And then I got and spoil it all by saying something stupid like I love you".
10:18 Ding! Ding! Ding! You got it right the first time. I'm surprised that few people picked up on Gus' gay vibes in _Breaking Bad,_ but this makes it even more obvious. I love it!
Yeah!!! It was so obvious to me in Breaking Bad that Gus's business partner was SOO much more than just a business "partner"
There it is, when Vince and Peter were thinking about what this show will be about, they asked a question: what would make a man become Saul Goodman.
And the answer was pretty simple. Lost love. Basically splitting in Kim made him embrace the Saul persona. Cause up until this point we didn't see the true Saul. It was Jimmy playing Saul.
Now that Kim left, the guy became a wreck really. Losing himself in Saul shell. Alsmot like as a mean to forget. A mask that he wears every single day. And that's what we see in Breaking Bad. We just didn't know and we basically were like "yup, Saul. What a funny character"
What I loved about this ep back when it aired is that it could've easily been the last one, yet we had four more after this one. And they were all marvellous!
After this, the prequel to Breaking Bad became the sequel. That was such a genius way to do it as it kept the ending open to the writers.
