So I didn't know this, but I looked it up. Young rabbits disperse from the nest at 15-20 days old. By three weeks of age, they are on their own in the wild and no longer require a mother's care.
That’s exactly how I got my first bunny Hoppy !!! It was a bunny even maybe a week younger in the road !!! I gave it milk for about a week and then it could eat grass and soon it was release back to nature 💕🌸🐰
Most of these videos I've seen people handle wild rabbits they keep holding them up in the position that shows their bellies when they've been told time and again that they're not supposed to do that because it puts them in so much distress. You have a first person I've seen that handled the bunny with so much care. Thank you very much😊
Baby rabbits are so vulnerable. My cat caught one and tried to eat him, but our dog saved its life. We took him to the vet, got him stitched up and got him some meds, and we decided to rehab him ourselves, because the local rehab was way over capacity. He was fine during that time, just hanging out in a big 50 gallon tote with hay and a small box to hide in. We fed him veggies, gave him fresh water every day, and tried not to handle him too much. Then after a few weeks the stitches came out and he was a lot more active, and after another month we went to release him. But he kept coming back, over and over again, so we tried a couple days later, but he still wouldn't go. He would take a few hops, look around, then run back and sit on my foot. Then we tried a 3rd time, and the same thing, only this time we walked away, but he ran after us. Not sure what to do, we named him Stitches decided to just keep him. That was 3 years ago, and he's still with us.

That quote was really meaningful and kind ✨ Let go of what you love. If they come back, they're yours ❤️
It won't come back she got his ass killed people and seeing things cute when they r harmful
That's what my mother always said if you love it let it free if it comes back then it's yours same goes for humans and humans
This quote is stupid. Why would you let go of something you love?
@@ihatemeww to grant it freedom
If you do your reaserch, the rabbit example in the video was a juvinile and was able to leave its nest, meaning it doesn't need the assist of its mother
if she brought it home it wouldve definetly interferred with the development of a naturally wild animal
The same can Be said for other examples
Letting go of something you love can be applied to certain contexts but not all
How could you not adopt the baby 😭💔 Her willpower is stronger than mine.
Its probably someone else's pet or its trying to find its mother so you cant touch it
It has to live by itself now or find its mother
WILD ANIMALS STAY IN THE WILD TO STAY WILD! Just saying. I know how you feel. I've been in the same position, but you have no choice but to let them go. 🥺🙂
@Aspen 🌿 & Gizmo 🤖 well it's a wild animal. Get over it, they need to survive in the wild
@@dmhq-administration are you sure this is a wild bunny? It looks domesticated to me. What if someone left the bunny there. They can't survive in the wild.
He was just updating drivers and woke up in whole new dimension 😂
Poor honey was to tired to make a reaction…that’s when you know they need help is when their not willing to put up a fight…
Nope, that's just how rabbits are, they freeze upon seeing danger, its a thing babies do alot, and adults will do it 50% of the time, wild rabbits do it more than domestic ones due to domestic ones (while still worrying) are more lax, also their bright coats arent good camo vs wild ones
@@whatTFisThis You know that's multiple sentences right? You can't just do this,,,,,,,,, and continue.
@@sesserose25 yes I'm very well aware
And i can, I already did lmao, its just communicating on the internet, as long as it's legible and doesnt give anyone a headache its fine
I do put periods when doing school stuff, its just less effort here to press comma
That makes more sense-
🤠🔫
My guess is he may have been picked up by a hawk but got dropped & he was still stunned when you found him. Happens alot more than you think it does.
Unfortunately prey birds usually injure or kill them with their claws when picking them up. Sometimes not though. I have so many right in my backyard & hate watching them. One dropped a dead rat on my deck a couple of days ago so they don't like me either. Disgusting!
The strong human urge to pet an Animal. It's just beautiful ❤️
He's just in a little ball of fluff....AWWWW my weakness......Cuteness overload
So cute 😍
Does make me wonder if it weren't someone's pet? Since it wasn't that stressed to be near you. 😕
Maby, but this bunny may know it will die soon or something so it may be waiting
That’s not a domestic rabbit. My cat caught one that size last year and it was really calm. Fed it kitten milk.
No,this bunny was a Wild one, because his fur color and appearance
Most wild baby buns hide and don't move. I have a lot around my house. Have to move baby buns to a box each time I mow the lawn. Always make sure to put them right back where you found them or close by. Once they reach a few weeks to a month they will start to run away.
the fur of the rabbit makes it clear it isnt.
the rabbit is not stressed or scared because it's still learning and clueless. :)
Now that is rare to see a bunny that is in not scared of you there's like a one-in-a-million chance and you also add that is so cute❤❤
Awwwww it’s so chubby and adorable 🥰 ❤❤❤ I want one
I’m so sad at the end I cried when you left it🥺😭😭
Trust me! They are having a great life! They need to be wild they have a great home in the wild!
@@OpheliaXfairy that is not a wild bunny they are much different looking sadly that bunny got dumped from it's owner I hope she comes back for it😥
Yeah that bunny probably died unfortunately.
@@CanineAlumni ah right nature survival is what there is and bunnies have lots of predators in the wild

Does it include the blanket?
Oh I thought she's just talking about her blanket.
Ikr I wonder if she went back and got it later lol hopefully the cute bunny was still there if she did.
I know that such rabbits are already independent but when I see something like animals themselves, my heart is empty and I feel like I don't have it
I saw this video 1 year ago and UA-cam recommended me again to watch this again and now this comment will be a memory for me.
Aww it has been long that I shared this video. Happy 2024 🎊
Why don't I meet these cute little things like this 😭
It was one of my dreams for years lol
I see baby birds all the time. I ride a bike (silently) and I know where the nests and roosts and dens are in my area.
You too can be a wildlife rescuer ❤❤❤
I once found a very sick pigeon, maybe just old, i brought him in some place and left a little warm thing, water and bread, next day i come back he was dead, i was somewhere 9-10 years old and that was quite shocking at this age for me
@@dustsans9859 awww at least pidgey was warm and safe when he died. I just found a tiny nestling miner bird. 2 others dead on the ground. I stopped to take them off the road and heard a peep, and this lil guy was on the other side of the tree. I brought him home as the weather is ugly and floods are predicted tomorrow. On my way to get baby food for him now. My springtime baby bird rescue has begun anew for the year! Fingers crossed this one makes it, but my Parrot is going to be very jealous!
I usually see snakes on the road. 😂😂😂😂
You've done me a favor he hasn't forgotten for the rest of his life.
Omg I ❤ your video, bunny was beyond cute, thank you for helping the little guy, I want to keep him as a pet 😊

The dog was probably helping record so she could do that, I imagine. 😄👍
stupid writing style 🙈
@@UserX860 Thanks
i mean at least you left it on a brightly colored towel so prey animals could find it faster
That’s what I’m saying, she should’ve took it with her instead of leaving it back out in the wild where there’s a high chance of the bunny getting eaten by a coyote or something
@@Richard-uz9yr it's nature, wild life, if it gets eaten that's sad but it's the cycle, she doesn't have to take it either and she safely put it off the road, idk what y'all want
Poor baby
Not to mention half of the dirty things have rabbies.
Brightly colored?!?!?! It was dark blue!!!
I have never seen a wild rabbit be that friendly and calm...They usually hop away if you get close enough.

Why didn't you keep the buny or take it to a sanctuary instead of putting him in a blanket and back on the side of the road.
Exactly what I said. Poor baby 😢
Survive on its own . It was in the road not moving . You find it you take care of it . I don’t understand
@@gneepgnarp but its a baby bunny on its own, if its mother isn't around with him there IS no eventually, baby bunnies already die alot even with their mother
@@_-ZZZ-_ They actually fend for themselves quite young and small.
@@mjrussell414 That may be true, but there isn't something right with that bunny, it wasn't moving at all and looked almost too calm, she could at least find out what was wrong or take him to the vet
This bunny was literally like...I'm just gonna sit here till something happens. Hopefully its good!
Bé thỏ con dê thương đáng yêu quá đi ve ry good cute ve ry nice. Không đem về nuôi có Phước
The way they do that hand thing on the face ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I am dead of cuteness
Their cleaning themselves when they do that
When you realize that rabbits go on their own at 3 weeks old
Humans: no we need 18 years 👁️👄👁️
Nah, what do you mean by that?
When you realize humans live to be 80-100 years old and bunny’s are often turned into coyote or fox sh1t somewhere between infancy and their average life span of 2-4 years.
If you gotta get everything in that you’re gonna do in life b4 turning in to fox crap… I’d be hopping on my own at 15 days too.
