    I really appreciate the cooperation and willingness the family showed. After the husbands saw his wife’s issue he knew to act. While watching I thought of other hoarding clean outs I’ve seen where the people collecting the junk have been in denial that it’s an issue or shown very little determination to get rid of things. So it was nice to see something like this for a change.

    • @wildfire160
      @wildfire160 Рік тому +9

    • @nebullae
      @nebullae Рік тому +4

      yeah i've watched episodes of hoarders where the people even get violent or angry that people are trying to throw away their trash... i was pleasantly surprised to see that they did not react poorly to the change. sad that it happened because of the son being lazy and the loving father's guilt...

    • @marialindell9874
      @marialindell9874 Рік тому +10

      Cause hoarding is an actual disorder, usually triggered by trauma or other illnesses as a coping mechanism.
      I'm a hoarder and live with one. Ever since I can first remember, I was searching for emotional comfort from items, as living in a severely abusive household taught me that my parents and others would never give me that.
      So essentially my brain developes all kinds of reasons and then creates an emotional attachment between me and say a receipt, thus making it harder to toss away. It can be formed by basically any reason. Maybe that candy wrapper had such a shape that I wanted to draw it later or dating on a product was significant to me.
      I'm concious enough to know it's not good or healthy, but since I live with my abuser still (who is spiralling even more), I have zero strength to try fix it myself and I'm not able to get proper help for it. I have several diagnosies from mental to an eating sidorder and I suspect some form of PTSD. It truly is difficult.
      One of my parents is currently my active abuser, while the other one doesn't take my proplems seriously and sees tossing everything out in secret as the only option. That would trigger an absolute breakdown for my brain and for many hoarders can actually worsen their mental state as their safety net (the hoard) has been ripped out and destroyed without a word.
      For some the treatment and start of getting better is to just literally take out one or two items of the hoard at a time until it's good to take a 70L sack.

    I love the fact of bringing him to psychological health, instead of just cleaned his house, what he could agree at the hospital but later being deeply sad about it. Sometimes people want to help, and impose something that they think is the right way, instead of trying to understand other people struggles. And I think his son will need mental health help too, he was too comfortable on that situation. I feel for the wife, that suffered between her husband and son issues and also was the more physically affected. I hope they doing fine now! My prays and thoughts for them.

    보통 병적으로 더러운집은 혼자살아서 누군가 교정해줄 사람이 없는 사람들이 대부분인데 보통은 강박증있어도 심해지기전에 다른 정상적인 가족들이 청소라도해주고 커버라도 쳐주는데 여기는 가족들중에 멀쩡한 사람이 한명도없어서 커버가 안된다. 같은 사람들끼리 뭉쳐서 더 사태를 악화시키고 있음.
    우울증 커뮤니티도 우울증걸린사람들끼리 모여서 위로가아니라 서로 마이너스 시너지를 강화하는 경우가많듯이 정신적으로 불안한 사람들은 모아놓으면 서로 마이너스 시너지가 생김.
    근데 치료가 필요하다면 그중에서도 아들을 가장먼저 치료해야할듯. 할아버지 할머니들도 아들의 상태때문에 희망을 못보고 저렇게 되신게 근본적으로 아들의 상태때문이신거같음.
    아들을 치료해서 사회로 나올수있게 하는개 가장 최우선책일듯함.

    My heart broke when I heard the old man said that he didn’t know that his wife was sick, and then I looked at her face, my heart sinks. From the son to the mother, I could clearly see that the three members love each other so much they were able to tolerate things of this extreme level. I was touched by the whole crews. The most important part was to also bring him to see psychologist. Respect the whole crew so much that they changed these ppl’s life for the better.

    I have been watching a lot of your good works but this one affected me most. What a transformation you have made to the lives of this family. It was a mammoth task: You saved the mother's life, took the mental burden from the father that was weighing the him down and manifested in the physical act of hoarding. I hope the son is doing well and got the psychiatric help he so badly needed. Your saw beyond the obvious and got to the root cause of the problem. Just incredible and brilliant.

    This was the most heart breaking but at the same time satisfying thing to watch. Hats off to all those involved in rescuing the family who desperately needed help. What was ironical was the fact that the man could be convinced only after he came to know of his wife's health condition. I was wondering whether he would have allowed his house to be cleaned if not for his wife's illness. Anyway,all's well that ends well. I hope they have managed to maintain the house . 들것에 실려가면서 하는말. 치워주는건 좋은데 필요한건 놔두셔야해요 이말들으니 전부 치료가 필요한거같긴해요

    i was feeling claustrophobic when they filmed her entering the house... I hope the family will continue to receive the help they need. Many thanks to the volunteers who helped, may god bless them.

    Selamat sore...😊😊
    Salam dari Indonesia..
    Beberapa tahun yg lalu hal serupa ini pernah terjadi di LN..seorang ibu rentah yg tinggal seorang diri.. Kenyataan ini terjadi lg di negara yg berbeda.. 😢😢😐
    Setelah nonton vidio ini saya betul² terharu dgn keadaan kedua orang tua yg sudah rentah & seorang anak lelakinya.. & sangat terharu lagi dgn kebaikan serta pertolongan mrk yg telah melakukan perubahan dlm kehidupan yg jauh lebih nyaman dr kehidupan sebelumnya...Kluarga kecil ini telah berbahagia kembali dgn seluruh kebaikan dr manusia² yg memiliki HATI MALAIKAT...😍🙏
    Smoga manusia² yg demikian baik banyak di muka bumi ini.. 🙏🙏🙏

    This is what real documentary should be not just filming but actually helping the subject. Because that's what should be the reason in the first place.

    It’s shocking not only the state of the house to begin with but the fact that transforming it was even possible. I had anxiety watching the crew come inside the house i felt like it’s so dangerous and someone could get crushed or trapped. It’s heartwarming to see the outcome.

    The lady had not been rescued by this film crew could have been close to expiring in her unhealthy condition and simply dies in the trash house and the old man may have kept her there without saying she has died & you people saved the ladies life l think & l thank you for doing that , Such a warm lady close to death at any moment but now has a new start at a better uncluttered house. One of the best video stories I've ever seen on this website. And l thank you Again with all my heart and soul.

    I'm glad that the couple finally can live in a clean house. I hope they will be able to maintain it in this clean state and not end up collecting the trash again.

    최근 근황이 쓰레기로 다시 가득찼다고 하는데 사실 이런 분들은 지속적으로 관심을 가지고 치료를 계속 받았어야 함. 특히 할아버지만 생각하고 아들은 크게 문제없다고 생각해서 다시 재박한게 아닐까 싶은 사례.. 치워주고 치료 한 번 해준다고 해결 될 일은 아니었던거 같음.
