Manny. I’ve been going back to your videos this year because I think you captured the PCT more so than anyone in 2023. Thank you so much for your vision. These videos will help me in 2025 when I plan on thru hiking the PCT.
Great to hear! I wish you the best now and in your future 2025 Journey on the Pacific Crest Trail! Keep in touch and let me know when you start. I may pop in and see you On Trail!! 👣🤟🏽😎
You did an absolutely amazing job of hiking this season! I have really enjoyed watching you through your lens. You totally depicted that it’s about the journey and not the destination! Thanks
Congrats Manny! Thank you so much for sharing all the beauty and unique moments of your adventure. It was such a great joy to follow along with you and see all the amazing sights. This section in particular was stunning! It really lifted my spirits to watch your journey and got me through some tough moments this summer to have your videos to look forward to. And thank you for being an excellent trail angel as well. I look forward to seeing your future adventures!
Thanks Manny! For the last few months, I've come home every night from work and looking forward to a new video. They've all been fantastic, but I think this is one is the best - what and amazing place! I hope I get to walk in your steps someday.
Manny, thank you so much for bringing people with you and uploading all these video's. I spend a lot of time down in the San Diego area's during hunting season. My family and I drive the 79/warner springs/Highway 74 to palm desert a few times a summer. I have passed the paradise valley cafe so many times in the last 18 years without knowing its significance to the hikers. Glad you got to see some jets down in the San Felipe wildlife area north of scissors crossing! That is a beautiful area. Good luck partner and thanks again for all the video's.
Fantastic vloging of Goats Rock and Knife Edge. Such an epic part of the Trail. I'm sad that all those thru-hikers have hiked from Mexico only to be thwarted at the last section. This was an epic vlog, you were definitely the 'best dressed thru-hiker of 2022'. All good things must come to an end. The Trail will always be there but it is the people you meet along the way who make the thru-hike the experience it is. All you can eat hiked with April for a long time and the one hiker mentioned Terry and Marcy who I also follow. 2023 thru-hikers, the standard has been set by Manny on Trail. Thank you Manny it's been a blast, I've really enjoyed your vlogs Manny and hope you do some weekend hikes in the future. Rest, recover and enjoy time with family.❤️
Goat rocks, cispus pass snd knifes edge are such a highlight of the pct. Looks like you got decent weather. It gets windy on knifes edge but you weren’t being blown away. And you weren’t socked in the clouds. Even with the smoke from up north near the Canadian border, you were treated with amazing views! Aren’t you glad you hopped back on the pct? I’m glad if for not other reason than to see this beauty thru your lens.
Bravo Manny! Congratulations on your accomplishment this year! Well done. 👏👏👏 Awesome footage on knife's edge. I really enjoyed your journey this year. Thank you for helping keep my PCT dreams alive! I'm gunning for a LASH next year! 🤞 But no matter what I'll be staying tuned to watch you reach that northern terminus! Happy Trails Mr. Man!
Beautifully filmed and accompanied by some wonderful music. I discovered you late into your hike but have appreciated you taking the group along on your journey. Such a positive attitude.
What a great adventure and thank you so much for uploading the videos as you go. Hiking is hard enough but doing the videos in all that spare time you had is dedication. Keep safe and thank once again. Its help me understand the trail for planning my through hike in 2024.
Manny it was just so thrilling to see you hit these milestones! Goat rocks and knifes edge! Was so excited to see you get there! Must have felt like being on top of the world up there on knifes edge! Especially since you almost got off the trail at one point but you persevered! You have been my favourite pct blogger to follow this year! Really enjoyed the pace , quality, and family friendly content! Definitely got some of the best views from you. Was happy to follow along! Thanks so much!
yeah you can go back next year to fill things in! That's an advantage of doing sections . Sometimes fire closures last a while though. I got to hike all of CA section B last year in one shot ...which wasn't possible for some. Right after they opened fuller ridge. I wonder if the Goat Rocks snow was there due to WA high snow year ...or is there always snow there? I'm not so good on snow. On section D this year I waited until there wasn't snow on Baden-Powell. So much more enjoyable IMO. ...and actually I'm pretty sure I met Nope! in Acton around 6/23.
Look forward to the parts I missed and YES, I hope they'll be open, but also understand they may not. Wouldn't be the first time I re-hiked the same sections! It's all PCT Trail and all good 😉. The TRAIL and the PEOPLE.
Manny.

So enjoyed all your videos and sad to see the journey end. Knife edge made me nervous watching it even though the view was amazing.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed them. 🙂
It was fun to hike this section with you, glad we got to meet you, even if it was brief! Happy trails!
Likewise! And thanks again for the battery power!! 🙏🏽

Congratulations, Manny!!! Absolutely the BEST view of Knife's Edge ever posted. You are so courageous. So sorry about the fire closures 🙏🙋♀️
Thanks for the compliment. My intent was to get the best capture I could and I still enjoyed the hike, safely. 😊

This was one of my favorite sections of the trail. Hard to make miles when all I wanted to do is stare at the beauty
Understand that 100%! 🙂
@5:15 I can't believe the difference in our views... looks epic 👌 😎
I was lucky it turned out to be a clear day and perfect time of the season! 🙏🏽😎
@@mannyontrailPCT when was it? I took a screen shot and sent it to my friends... they can't believe the difference.

That snow at goat rocks is a glacier that is always there
