I moved to WA a few months ago and was shocked by the sheer number of people claiming public land/land they don't own is theirs. If anyone knows what authority I could report it to I'd love to know, it feels like every other ride I'm blocked by some asshat putting "no trespassing" signs or locked gates on national forest roads. Hell maybe I just need to start bringing bolt cutters on my rides.
Highly recommend you get an Annual Northwest Forest Pass. For just $30 per year your ability to park in fee based day use areas in the NF is covered. Then youll never have to worry about getting a ticket. (You can get it in decal form for your motorcycle)
I’m glad you mentioned “Baby Head Jr.”! I’m a new ADV rider (less than 6 months) and I completed the WABDR solo (S to N) last week. I skipped most of the advanced stages except for The Jungle but Baby Head Jr. was the sketchiest part of my trip. 12:19
Your tech level and presentation is at the perfect level. High enough to be enjoyable (great audio, good editing), but low enough to be relatable and not intimidating. Thank you.
Great video. Was up on Sec 5 yesterday. 🙂 Previously we got high centered in some of the ruts you mention on our Ural it looked like torrential downpour took 1/3 of the road with it. A little sweat and on our way again. The ruts just out of Chelan where your buddy broke his leg ripped out left muffler right off our Ural! Respect the ruts...
Great solo follow up from your official start. Been following the Dork and seen you in his videos. So I subbed and watched your finish! Way to be carful not to get in trouble. Maybe run into you guys around Bend Oregon on 2 wheels
They are closed tell may 1st because it is winter grounds for elk an deer. They don’t like people out there putting more pressure on them while they are already fighting for survival.
Nono. I understand the closure. Have to deal with gates quite often. Didn’t at the time get why the gate was STILL locked a month and a half after the closure was to end with no updated signage…..
@@ExploreAdventureMoto should of ran 20 min down into selah an got some bolt cutters, I live maybe 5 min from those gates. People try an lock them because they think they own the land all the time. Mostly tree huggers to be honest
@@rickydurfee1643 nah, I don’t cut gates or advocate for that. The solution was the next gate down the road a couple hundred yards was accessible anyway.
How is WABDR solo!!? I’d be like to do sec 1 and 2 especially for the beautiful Bethel Ridge!!! A lifetime of riding experience but would consider myself a good average rider with safety in mind on a loaded Triumph Tiger 800. Just did ORBDR sec 5 solo last week. Definitely challenging and fun!! 🏕🏍🤙🍻

My first WABDR I took a dirt nap on the babyhood bypass on Wenas rd near E-burg. wrecked the biked but now injury.

It’s a pretty gross section. S-n, so you went UP it. Down is far easier imo since gravity is your friend
Again, welcome to team MotoZ 👍🏻😜
Great video!
Sure hope you’re not WABDRerd out, I’d love to ride that with ya next year👊🏽
Stay Hairy.

Yeah any more tech than what I do, I’d have to read instructions 🤮
lady's and gentlemen!!! he is back !!
*_It's good to hear from someone else talking about the Motoz Tires. I think I'm going to have to try them. Thanks for sharing this great vid._*

Fun video. Congrats on completing the WABDR.
Always excited to see a notification about a new video on this channel. Glad to see you knocked out the rest of the BDR.
LOL same bike but I got stopped on the other side of the locked gate and eventually found my way to the correct one at dusk...
Great to see you finished it what a great ride
Great video! Looks like the new tires did you very well especially on baby hill, great job
Entertaining and interesting as always. Thank you!

Great video! Loved all the information.
That was freaking Awesome brother 👊 thank you for sharing and thank you for all the great videos
"Who set up my camera?"....you kook! Lol👍

We call it "Baby baby head hill" :)

@@rickydurfee1643 excellent!
At least half of Section 2 is rocky and rough. You should have tackled baby head hill. It's tough but not crazy if you are a decent rider.

Dang so I saw you did the bypass routes, guess that’s what I should and save Bethel for if I can get a pal to ride with. Safety first ehh.
It’s fine solo. Just take it easy and don’t take chances. I ride VERY conservative when solo. Section 1 of the WABDR is really tame.
Right on!!!
Thank you!!!
