My DIY build is running infinity trucks and Open Belt Drive set from trampa and I'm well impressed with them, but I only actually had my first ever go on a full legit trampa build 2 weeks ago, spur gear drive and big boi deck, 185kv motors and 9" pluggers on the rear. Did 10 miles of trails at llandegla forest and that's all it took, I was in love... whole different machine! The flex of the deck combined with the insane torque from the drive train will literally tackle anything you throw it at, and that wand is just pure smoothness 👌🏼 Kudos dudes, I finally got to see what all the fuss was about... Absolute fucking belter! Let the penny saving begin 😅 ... unless the Mrs kills me first!
Do all trampas feel like they steer from the backfoot? been using one recently and can't get on board with it. it's an ok way to steer in powder on a snowboard, but it's just weird otherwise. would tightening up the rear trucks help it be more like an e-skate? Or are my mates rear trucks just waaaay too loose? Like at this point I want to absolutely rip on the board but tha tback foot is so sketchy.
Trampa's generally steer from the front foot. Alot of people like to ride with the front truck a lot looser than the back too, this just exaggerates it
@@nickwoodward819 each deck is custom made... its fair to say if u needed to change the steering then you were probably on the wrong deck also... advanced riders take stiffer decks for sure.. Give us your weight, height, skill level and type of riding your likely to do and we'll give you the best setup quote suited to you and that style of riding... totally unique.... best next thing to snow/surf/skate boarding yet...
@@tedorr5449 Hi Ted, that's probably got a lot to do with it too - I'm much heavier than he is, and any acceleration combined with movement of my back foot just felt relatively unstable - as I mentioned, a lot like you'd be forced to steer in deep powder. Not quite looking for a board yet, but good to know it's something that can be customised to change that feeling. Definitely keeps my interest, thanks.
@@nickwoodward819 if your much heavier than he then for sure it will not feel right for you... Book a test ride with us bro, give the boys your stats and they will make something suitable for your arrival, we usually have something to ride for all sizes, but just in case your enormous or something crazy like 3 leg stance, we can have that ready for you!! lol with our boards, i say its horses for courses.. like bikes there is no magic bike that does everything for all for everyone...
I think Amon style of edition is so on point and joy to watch ever time
Trampa is the future of electric skateboards
Once you ride on one you are hooked. One happy customer. No Hesi,Go Trampa
I wish I was. My friend's board must be set up wrong. I can't get with that rudder style steering.
Thanks for the tour and ride guys it was a real blast! Can't wait to get out on a Trampa again
Was great to have you!
Welcome @timwood to the trampa crew. No going back now 😂 it’s like opening Pandora’s box with the terrain you can now tackle. Well done sir
*Great to see Tim on a different board* 👀
well shot & edited 👏🏼👏🏼
You can see the glee on Tim's face!
Nice review Tim, I also made the switch up from Evolve to Trampa. best thing I ever done. feel the torque!
Yes Adey!
Jeez these Trampa's boards are amazing ... I need one in the foothills of the drakensberg mountains here in south africa......
That would be awesome! We will come for a week, maybe more...
Fantastic go on Tim get on a Trampa !
Brilliant video guys! Would love to see more of these with other community members.
We will!
Looks great Tim, and what perfect timing after I spoke to Ted and the guys the other day. They look awesome, and great to hear business is killing it
Wicked video Amon well done
What’s with the giant backpack? 😀
If you can ride a board it’s all the same. Looks like some great terrain!

Thanks Tom!
Now he’ll be looking at the world around him through Trampa eyes; nothing else will do.
We should make some shades and call them Trampa Eyes!
Lucky Tim.👊😎👍
Trampa, for switch riding do you plan on making a dual motor version ? Would be super cool to emulate switch stance snowboarding
We can ride switch on these boards. We also make a 4 wheel drive version, though it its a lot heavier.
Nice, does the motor go full speed when pushing reverse on the remote?
Will the wand work with flipsky 4.20 plus dual?
This was not a video. It was an experience. And Tim, when you getting one then? ;)
The Trampa Experience!
Welcome in the Club and say goodbye to ur other Pev 😅
What's the score with using Tramps boards on roads in the UK? Are they legal?
We reccomend you stay off the road as much as possible, its way more fun off road anyway!

@@TrampaBoards That's good to know, although I could ride it fairly well I wasn't a fan of how it felt. I'll secretly tighten his trucks xD

Hey, do you guys ride with 9” tyres on the back 8” tyres on the front? If so does this have any advantages?
Better traction but worse efficiency. Compared to 8“
Yeah some people do, it gives you more grip and a higher top speed
It’s a thrill and a curse. You’ll be addicted.
Once you go trampa you don't go back.
It looks like he never took a ride in any skateboard... never seen any enthusiastic eskater so stiff before. Like my first time on a eskate.
Its a big difference compared to what he is used too. Tim was chilling by the end of his trip!
