I bought this recently and it arrived today. It's great, especially the Amiga titles. Saves me hours of searching for ROMs and ADF files. It's extremely worth the small amount that it costs. I won't even have the time to play all of the games it provides.
I have built my own a 6TB and 4Tb version the 6TB has every system I could get my hands on and the 4TB is just for the higher end systems yes its a lot of work and takes a long time but its well worth it.
I concur on this statement. If you have a small bit of knowledge on emulation and how to format game titles and names properly, building your own is the best option by far. Heck, making hyperspin style hard drives paid for a year of my college tuition in times past. Well worth the effort to make 'em at home.
Quite a decent drive for the price. I have been thinking of getting something similar for a while now and this may be a very good option. Thank you for sharing.
I am very excited to buy this, but I have a question. Can i just add more games here ? not sure if I need to set all up for new games, or just add files and it should just work. Did you try adding more games?
@@basicdadtech And... run Retroarch.exe (Emulators \ Retroarch). You can download and update the cores, grab some freeware games--if you don't already have enough--as well as update Retroarch, plus tons of other updates like the game controller db. I first had to configure the Retroarch Menu (Settings - User Interface - Menu Item Visibility) to show Core Downloader in Online Updater plus other menu items. Thank you Libreto Retroarch for the extensive Docs. Of course I did this on my backup of the drive I received because (1) who knows how long this re-purposed drive will last, and (2) If I screw up the Thousands of Settings choices in RetroArch and RetroBat, I can re-copy from the source. (I also deleted thousands of Japanese games (1) I'll never understand the verbiage, (2) the HDD is almost full, makes room for updates and other goodies.)
it takes a bit of work but i run playnite which you can point to emulators and games from the 1 frontend off an ext drive but something like this seems like a good starting point although too much clutter so its better to create your own playlist and modify as needed
This is one I just ordered from Ali Express last night for about $25. This video eases my worry that it may have been a ripoff because they’re a bit more expensive everywhere else I’ve seen it.

Did you scan the drive for malware and viruses before plugging in the drive and running the .exe?
I scanned my one with 3 different programs and it produced no insidious results.

That Banjo Kazooie picture is pure nightmare fuel 🤣🤣

You can definitely add games.

the hard drive performance is never a issue only if the game is corrupted
I bought your previous advertised drives and left comments about the viruses I found in them and never got a response.

Mine was bought for £16 two weeks ago from Ali Express.
can I connect this on my smart 4k TV ?
Only via a PC.
I AM going to buy this but I don't know that it can be connected to tv or not?
Pls reply 🙏🏻
No you need a PC. Though you could hook a PC to your big TV to use it.
loading screen time is decent
Can i add my own roms to the systems?
You can.
You can probably also add additional emulators to it. I cant see why not. Its just an emulator build with a shed ton of games.
Looks pretty good. I'm 100% sure that it can be modified if people want to add/remove games. Thanks for the review!
The 2 500GB ones I got have malware and .exe trojans😮
omfg hell no I got a gameing pc hell no I'm not buying this
Mine had none. It was clean.
