When i put the usb it doesn't read usb why 😢?

Just to let every one know. I bought and received the HD and ran a virus scan on it. Its infected with a Trojan!!!!! It's in the PS4 folder so if you haven't messed with that part of the drive you might be ok.

Have nas running on HP ProLiant MicroServer N36L its running hard to transcode one movie. Could i use on of these or a nuc to transcode remotely from the nas? Same site but plex not running on server?

I just built a pc from an old Lenovo tower, I7-2600, 12 GB DDR3, and 3GB GTX 1060. My Fortnite performance was actually REALLY good except when hard scoping. I have the same crazy stutter you did when hard scoping. Note mine was using almost 12 GB... so it could be a system ram issue, though the I7-2600 and i5-7400 do have similar limitations. Too bad you don't have spare parts laying around- putting an i7-7700 is that would really wake it up a bit (HP site says it supports that and the 7700K). That K2200 seems to be a 4GB 750 ti. Nice. The 2 GB is what finally killed the 750 ti as a viable cheap gamer GPU. EDIT- looks like that prebuilt has built in wi-fi and Bluetooth. Nice. Built in Mobo or a separate card? The only issue with these is that Power Supply. HP had some really bad Power Supplies at one time. So I would not want to use funky adapters to get PCI-e power connectors.

Just a heads up, that motherboard won't support a Xeon. Intel started making the chipsets incompatible with their xeon products if they weren't a workstation starting with at least the 6th gen. You have to get a workstation OEM machine to get that support.

I built one of these with an A10 8850 pro into a beast i swapped power supplies and rx 580 16 gb ram and two ssds swapped rgb fan units and spent 200$ total.

Bumping up to the K4200 for $20ish bucks should provide about a 30% bump to get you closer to performance targets. Cool video, I love the low cost builds.

Can I use a normal one instead of a low profile and do I need a new psu or cables or does the psu come with cables? My PSU only has 200w pls help

Not very bad at all for $25, would be nice if you can upgrade to 16GB ddr4 and slot in a rtx 3050 low profile (with bigger bracket) to turn it into an actual rtx pc for a lower cost

epic deal for a cool pc. btw minecraft bedrock/win10 is basically pocket edition, most people on pc would have the java version, which is significantly less optimized also because minecraft java is heavily modable.

I'd love to know which Xeon would work in this system! We have an old retro gaming Dell that could use a little more computing power. I just don't see much out there about office PC compatibility with these.

did you have to turn off secure boot in the bios menu before installing the gpu? i read you have to disable secure boot or the pc won't boot up after installing a gpu.it says you can't install anything that is offbrand or the pc won't boot up. so you have to disable the secure boot before installing anything that isn't the same brand as the pc.

Just a heads up... the Xeons will not work in these boards. As of the 6th Gen Intel locked Xeon support out of the desktop chipsets and you need a C series chipset to be able to run them. So... sadly, your only option is the i7.

Dont get the xeon equivalent for this because the skylake/kaby lake xeons only work with c232 and c236 motherboard chipsets.

I have this same computer, it's HP Envy 750-110 with Windows 10, that I still use today. Bought it 12/1/2016. I use Nero to burn DVD's from the computer too. Good stuff!

I have the Dell Inspiron equivalent to this but with i5 7600. It's a solid entry level pc and the k2200 is good for less intensive games. You may want to research the xeon compatibility bc intel changed something and the 6th &7th gen core processors aren't interchangeable with xeons like the 2nd-4th gen. The z240 is the only office pc i found to work with both lines of cpu for this gen.

I find that it's a decent box. Was quite impressed. I compared it to the superbox because I have 2 SuperBoxes but my girlfriend has a superbox and the StreamX X1Pro and I would have to say the superbox is a better box but the streamX gets the job done. Also I think the superbox TV guide setup is much nicer with two different EPG styles the classic and the new style.

CPU temperatures aren't looking too great, would highly advise repasting and/or consider a better cooling solution

Linux mint Mate or EFXE would be a good choice, cinnamon uses slightly more resources. Any modern Linux distro should be just fine. Please don't use stock Ubuntu, though. Also, if this laptop is so old it could use a repaste. I have an HP pavilion from the same era and after giving a good clean, new thermal paste, it ran so much better, quieter, and better performance. This old of thermal paste is literally hard, like I had to use a knife to clean mine. Good luck.

Why does this cost so much over a NVIDIA Shield or Cube that the same exact thing? I'm using both, why should I switch to this?

Nice review! It would be interesting to compare this to the gamesir galileo one. The latter one looks a bit more handy due to the larger grips, but less handy to transport.
