Speaking fluently is often mentioned as a significant goal in the language learning process.
But language skills don't have to be that perfect to be useful. If is also a bit too high goal to be thinking about while still learning basics.
I think that what you mentioned "being comfortable" or being willing and comfortable to use a new language as much as you can is a important goal. And it doesn't have to mean that you have good skills, even though many experience it like that.
To really learn a language you need to learn culture and use the language. Getting immersive feeling using it is important. Kielikylpy/ language bath are words to express that. You don't have to be immersed in correct finnish language. Simplified language is also a beneficial step.
This experience of immersion in a positive encouraging group can help people to give up their ideas of Finnish being difficult and impossible for them.
It's really difficult to learn, if you have made yourself to believe that you can't learn it.

I tried Larkkulla and it was terrible for me, lots of money wasted and did not learn much, also felt super stressed and disrespected... but ilmonet helped a lot! I also did the open uni with helsinki uni and it was ok too.

Hi! Depends on what you are willing to do, I believe waitering or cleaning jobs could be quite easy to get but I would still suggest that you reserve 3-6 months for first job hunt.
