- well its over 3 years since i visited (the video says over 2) and so much has happened since then as we all know. Hope you enjoy this revisit, the steel fencing around the castle was not expected and takes away a bit of the "romance" but i guess it keeps everyone safe. Unfortunately there were a couple of areas off limits due to structural issues however, i did manage to get film inside with my supa dupa camera haha :)

Hi Suki, yes I love this castle, it’s very imposing even at a distance. It’s a nice drive to get there but I bet it’s almost impossible if it snows 🤣 I hope they get to fix the issues with loose masonry before it falls into disrepair, it looked fine to me and it’s 3 years since I was there. How time flies eh… hope you’re doing well and taking care, I hope your week ahead is a good one 🙏🏻🤗💕🏰
Nice video Ray, visited years ago and knew about the castle before the visit. However for remote brownish land. The Castle is an Impressive sight. Lots of history...
Hi Mark 👋 I love this castle, it looks so imposing even from a distance. I’ll be heading back in summer (that’s if we ever get a summer of course 🤣) hopefully by then they will have addressed the loose mortar issue so full access can resume 🙏🏻

Not sure how I missed this one. Was just watching your vids again and this one started playing. I'd love to visit this castle. It really puts it in perspective to how tall this place is when u see the tiny door. Brilliant video xx
It’s going to be wrong time of year to visit now but summer it’s beautiful around there. A very imposing building even from a long way away. I want some aerial footage so that will be my next visit 👍🏻

Hi Evi yes it’s a nice drive when your Satnav doesn’t send you the wrong way 🤣🤣 it is a very imposing place and a very unusual design I think, at least on the outside. I had the place to myself (not counting the sheep 🐑) 🤣 until I was about to leave when a few others arrived. I always enjoy visiting this castle.
