Inquisitor's Flail doesn't work with Mindskinner because when multiple damage replacement effects occur at once, the player receiving the damage chooses the order to resolve them. They can choose the Mindskinner's negation effect first, followed by the doubling effect which is doubling damage that no longer exists.
So lifelink, swords, and all the other combat damage triggers don’t work with mindskinner because it replaces damage with mill, so no damage is done. Mindskinner turns off flail as well
This video is so horrendously wrong about the rules youre trying to engage with. which are clearly stated right on your commander. If youre going to make a channel based on MTG maybe learn to read the cards.
Yeah the swords ___ and ___ are rough but still at worst, add the pro color protection and buff by +2, so still without the combat damage benefit, still are fine. The bones of the deck are still good aside from the "mistake" cards, which are still fine if the mindskinner is not of the field/dead/costs too much. Mindskinner aside, the deck still does need to function if the commander isnt playable.
