One of the most beautiful videos I've seen in a while with fantastic music.

I have been a fighter my whole life , I boxed professionally , I have done Jeet Kune Do and Military hand to hand combat. I have trained in so much fighting and because of that , I don't fight anymore, have anything to prove or have fear to protect myself and others. I started doing Kung Fu with my kickboxing in 1993 , but I trained since 1987 when I was 5 in boxing. Because of Tai Chi and The Tao Te Ching, my other fighting is stronger than ever and I'm 40 now
The grace I learned from my Sifu and the wisdom from Spiritual teachings have made the combat I have learned on another level
Tai Chi saved my soul and centered me
I am currently practicing Zhang Sen Feng Tai Chi Sword
It's my favorite. I learned Yang Style and Chen Style over a decade ago
Zhang Sen Feng Tai Chi has improved my life by leaps and bounds
Thank you for all your videos. You are a good man for sharing your knowledge
    🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Try Sun Style Taiji, it’s very fun and at the same time teaches you Xing Yi Quan and Baguazhang, then you will have touched the 3 major internal arts. Wish you the best, thank you for sharing 👍

@@TheJofrica I am trained in Wudang , Zhang Sen Feng Tai Chi is the hardest form of Tai Chi
Sun Style is a easy style for beginners , mostly old people
      I have learned some Baguazhang
The Wudang I have learned is
Harmony Fist ( Tai He Quan ) , Mysterious fist , seven star sword , Elixir sword and Zhang Sen Feng Tai Chi 32
Tai He Quan is really difficult

@@politiconvict3874 Nice! I would not relegate Sun Style as a style for old people or "an easy style for beginners". It can be very challenging when done a bit more quickly, and teaches you an entirely different form of footwork. It single-handedly has given a nimbleness to my footwork that was never there before.
I have been training since 1996 in Yang and Chen Tai Chi, Kajukenbo (Karate, Judo/Jiujitsu, kenbo, Chinese boxing), Capoeira, Wudang 108 and 28 forms, and Wudang Sword. Out of all those, Sun Style has really permeated my footwork through and through.
I would like to learn the Wudang Tai Yi Wu Xing Quan (Five Elements) next, I like the circular motions in that. After that also some Bagua sword.
Wishing you the best in your path! Don't subscribe to narratives that paint any style as "for old people," etc., Sun Lu Tang put a lot of thought and in intention into creating Sun Style for a specific combat purpose. Peace!

@@TheJofrica I'm not putting Sun Style down , All Tai Chi is difficult
If you want to learn Five Elements fist I would highly recommend Tai He Quan because it is a short form that has all the difficult circular motions required for Five Elements Fist and Mysterious fist
Right now I'm practicing elixir sword but it's not that hard because my foundation in Wudang Zhang Sen Feng Tai Chi Sword has all the postures and most of the movements
I started doing Tai Chi in 2012
I was a professional boxer but I was actually trained in JKD , Kickboxing and Shaolin from 5 years old and then worked with a professional southpaw boxer for 7 years
      I'm a southpaw
I have found that Tai Chi has made my footwork more graceful and my hands are automatically coordinated now plus my knees have never felt better

That's interesting, there are variations in the technique I haven't seen elsewhere. I learned this form from the DVD that features Zhou, Xuan-Yun giving instruction, and he does it very differently. Stir the Rivers and Mix the Seas for instance is performed in a T-stance.
Maybe I should try it this way too...

@The Culture & Anarchy Podcast It's dramatic/visual effect. Wushu is the most theatrical, stylized form of Kung Fu. Your conjecture about "Socialism" (Totalitarian Maoism is a whoooole world away from socialism) doesn't stack up.

    • @Rosedeclemence
      @Rosedeclemence 3 роки тому +1

@The Culture & Anarchy Podcast also, I studied under Chen Shiyu in the winter of 2010/2011; he may not be using the exact same sword but he always preferred to use a two-handed extra large jian for his sword practice. All his students would practice this form with a shorter, much sturdier practical Taiji sword.
