The 2023 Dubya World Vet Championships at Glen Helen is officially in the books. With over 1200 racers coming from 24 different countries racing on a massive Glen Helen National track, this year’s event was truly a memorable adventure for all involved. In this video, MXA’s Trevor Nelson shows the sights and sounds of World Vet weekend with action from the Over-30, Over-40 and Over-50 Pro motos, as well as the Pasha 125 Open motos.

I rode those hills on my Triumph cub when I was a teenager. Now pushing 80, coming down there to race before I die, would be great.😊

I was there for the first time and had a blast! I've done the Redbud Vetfest a few years in a row and this one was definitely more star studded. Nice meeting you Josh Mosiman and speak some Swedish after you correctly guessed my nationality and being only the second person ever to do so lol.

I’m not familiar with the reason why, but can anyone elaborate why there hasn’t been a national at GH for the past couple of years?
Some sort of disagreement between track owner and organisers is something I had heard but don't quote me on that😅
I believe the owner doesn't like how Davey Coombs and mxsports want 100k to host a national. I forget the details but I'm pretty sure that was that's the main reason.
@@jla7147 I mean, if that's the case then fair enough. It's crazy to me that the tracks have to pay the organisers to run a race
It simply costs Glen Helen too much money. To hold a national is lots of prep and expense and there could not be other events going on at the same time, nor the days beforehand. Why hold one race over 3 days when you could hold 5 races?
