Seeing all this out of bounds stuff with the game in action really shows that steel wool has learned to optimize a lot better than base game, because base game has so much stuff out of bounds that is constantly loaded in and the like when it’s not at all needed
The Monty Claws/Legs rumor always felt incredibly dumb to me because even if you were able to acquire them, when and where would you actually use them? Monty just gets smoked by the electricity in the water and then never gets seen again.

The metal contraption forming the shape of the Monty shrine is one of the hydraulic alligator heads that would come out of the water in Monty Golf. I don't know if they were modeled with that much detail in Security Breach but you can see the mechanisms now that would lift the heads out of the water. The rest of them can be seen at the start in the Monty Golf area with Ruin's first camera computer.
If there's one thing Steel Wool is good at, it's creating an atmospheric environment. All maps just scream "Ruined" (haha). They did a great job with it, in my opinion. I especially love Purpleland, wish they didn't restrict your access by summoning Pegtrap every now and then. They betrayed us with the nonexistent bowling minigame, though. Sadge.
Imagine there being actual hidden lore in just random graffiti lol. And if there is, one better be that Mr. “Wall-rus in a top hat” is a future fnaf character.
Some interesting things I noticed in my own investigation of the DLC's files: - The Blob does actually use a completely unique model in this DLC! It's a model referred to as Tangle in the game files (specifically the file SK_TangleLite_DLC.uasset), and is notably lower-poly when compared to it's Security Breach version. It is also missing several of the animatronics, including the Puppet, Chica, Mangle, and the various endoskeletons that it had, though still has Circus Baby and Bonnie, as well as an unidentifiable casing piece of another animatronic. - At 8:19, you mention that there's no AR version of the lower section where the elevator to the Afton/Mimic is. Though it has seemingly been removed entirely, Steel Wool forgot to remove a backed up version of this area (stored with the other Roxy Raceway maps as MAP_Roxy_Racer_Part2_AR_Backup.umap). It has a little bit of developer text, implying that the Blob (the Tangle) ripped open all the gates in its escape. It was likely removed from the game because, as you said, they chose to prevent the mask from being used inside of this area. - In the directory fnaf9/Plugins/Chowda/Content/Maps/Whitebox (specifically stored in Chowdafnaf9-WindowsNoEditor.pak), there's 78 maps refered to as Whitebox Maps that are still stored inside the game files. These appear to have been early concepting maps used to block out the shapes of each of the game's sections. One of the most interesting ones is MAP_WHITEBOX_Sinkhole_DLC.umap, which appears to be a very early rendition of the Mimic chase that had you go through a stage area with Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica on it. - At 22:32, you pointed out a door in the upper section of the Beauty Salon. This door actually used to lead to a catwalk system above the cut backstage area, which can still be seen in the Backstage Office Window as a cubemap reflection. A stairwell - in fact, the same stairwell Freddy takes us down at the start of the game - would've led all the way up to that door, along with the entire catwalk system. It's all very interesting stuff.

Carnival could mean a lot of things, being a book, another DLC, or something that's going to be included in Help Wanted 2. I'm very interesting to see what that'll entail.

20:10 So, if you were wondering why it looks like there is a giant tree in the center of the server room that you cannot normally see. Well, that's because it is a giant tree. It's mentioned in the books that the creator of the mimic is being kept alive in the centre of the tree after the mimic almost killed him in the books after he beat it up.

Spiff's interpretation of the pizza toppings (at 14:31) is very interesting to me. The sort of "texture" of the pizza object makes it a little hard to make out some details, but to my eyes it looks like: -Pepperoni (dark red circles) -Black olives (black circles) -Onions (white rings) -Mushrooms (brown shapes, most visible under left side onion) -Tomatoes (light red circles) -Possibly jalapeno slices? Or green bell pepper pieces? (the green rings, which seem too bright for green olives, and are not the same shape as the black olives) -Basil? (The leafy pieces that Spiff thought were cilantro) There's also clearly supposed to be some seasoning but I'm not even gonna try to guess on what that could possibly be.
I kinda wish there was a "repair them all" type of ending where instead of just roxy coming to save you, Chica and monty would come too if you repair chica's voice, monty's claws or legs, and Roxy's eyes
I wonder with the server room if they originally intended to put more there and then either changed their mind, or decided the resources were better spent elsewhere. That would explain having a server room vaguely sketched in (so that if you decide to build something in you've got assets) but that it's not actually finished.
The basic real world server room is there because you CAN die in the pegtrap segment if you stall for too long. Eventually Chica will get spawned on top of you and kill you, which forces the mask off first. Therefore, basic render of server room exists to avoid funky stuff happening during the jumpscare.

What I'd like to see is a direct comparison of the world in the base game and the DLC, seeing how it all lines up, how much does ot doesn't match, and where all the new parts are located with regards to the structure as a whole.
The door above the Roxy salon actually *is* there in the base game. Originally it linked up to a series of catwalks above the "backstage" area that let you travel to places like a balcony above the main stage easily. In the final version of the game, the backstage was cut, reduced to a texture on a window in the spam E minigame. If memory serves, the balcony still has collision, but I think the door was changed to level 10 security to keep you from opening it, and I know for a fact that if you do open it the backstage will not automatically load, you have to force it to with commands.

A simple thing I noticed, but figured it would be neat enough to explain. I'm studying game development, and I have gone over and made a simple 2D game. The reason the sprites are on different heights in the Feeding Frenzy game (if i remember this correctly) is so they will show above the other sprites. 2D games DON'T need them to phsyically touch on the Z axis during interactions via collision, as they only care aboot the X and Y axis. As mentioned, its nothing special, just a simple part of layering. (I apologize for any misinformation though, as it has been a while and I have spent my focus on 3D games.)

My theory for freddy having "proto.type" written on the bottom of his foot is that he's.... a prototype. Meaning this isn't the same freddy who we know as a friend. (This also explains how Gregory is out of the PizzaPlex with his friend who has the building schematics during the ending of the DLC)
well in the canon princess quest ending, freddy gets torn apart (he has the same indent in the chest) and gregory and vanessa escape with freddy’s head (which explains why freddy is headless and not connected to the VANNI system) so it has to be the same freddy.
the Prototype on Freddy's foot, could help to explain why he never got corrupted, he also doesn't appear in AR mode probably because the V.A.N.N.I network is for Pizzaplex maintenance and technically there isn't anything wrong with his programming where as Roxy, Chica, Eclipse and Monty were corrupted by Glitchtrap virus until they were rebooted.
That detail of the bonnie during montys death is fascinating seeing as how monty is believed to have "decommissioned" bonnie and the bonnie light takes out monty.

is it just me or they did monty so dirty? He had a cool personality in security breach, and now he is just an angry dog, he doesn't even have voice lines. Chica does not do much either, but she did not had a personality to begin with. Monty did not deserve this humiliation, especially seeing Roxy being completely fine(since our last interaction with her)

I'm very glad that Steelwool fixed their mistakes with SB, especially with how things are loaded and rendered, plus the extreme lack of lighting needed probably fixed a majority of the former lag, hats off to them
Given that Princess Quest is likely the ending that leads to Ruin that means Gregory took Freddy's head with him leaving the shattered body behind. Combine that with the fact that headless freddy has a jumpscare in SB we can close our eyes and pretend there's continuity.

I strongly object to 21:37 , in the server room on my first playthough I was gawking at Massive Pegtrap for too long and he SPAWNED MONTY ON ME and murdered me in cold blood. And it's not like I was staring at him for all that long, I was confused because Cassie announces his presence before you can actually see him. I was in that room for 2 minutes tops maybe, but him spawning on me startled me and ever since I have moved through that room with *great* haste.
The IRL version of the server room exists bc if you end up being killed by Pegtrap's slave, you get forced out of the mask for the jumpscare and they placed server devices to not make it look like you're killed in the void
Server room seems to be about all the AI operation in the facility, so assumedly mimic would've corrupted it in SB, and the entity might be there just to stop it from doing that again. Perhaps you there's the real world server room cuz they wanted to originally add it(maybe entity could've been a threat) but maybe time constraints/plan falling through. I'd love dev commentary about this game ngl

In one of the original Security Breach out of bounds videos, there was an unused room with a bunch of upside-down silos lined up similarly to the way those server towers are here. That leads me to assume the silos were merely placeholders, or were repurposed for the DLC.

I’ve heard that the prototype on Freddy was more of an addition or fix from the last game kind of like how Roxie’s ends is completely different. That being said I think it implies the quest ending being canon

Monty didn't get the claw upgrades until after Bonnie died. No means. Monty was often found on the catwalks above Monty Golf. No opportunity. Monty was often found on the catwalks because he was excusing himself from performances. No motive. Also, I'm fairly certain he only started raging after Bonnie died, and despite Bonnie *appearing* to just enter Monty Golf, he was not only behind Bonnie Bowl, but he sent out an alert which attracted wet floor signs, implying that the struggle happened there. And also Bonnie spent hours not getting to Monty Golf. My guess is that he was framed, intentionally or not. Apparently the leading theory is that the Mimic is what killed Bonnie, because neiter Freddy nor Roxy seem like they'd kill Bonnie with as much deliberation as hiding it. Also I don't see why Chica would kill Bonnie, but I don't know what the motive would be.
I think the rope holding staff bots are a reference to the log ride in disney. Theres a nearly 1 to 1 scene of cut outs you see during the log ride in Disney land.
The next FNaF release is gonna have both Monty and Bonnie in a helper role like Freddy in SB and Roxy in Ruin, and their gonna have the game tally up how many times each animatronic is picked and then use that to determine who's gonna be kept

You can tell that “Gregory” is the mimic because he reuses a voice line from SB. The line is from a security office. I think he says “Help! I trapped”

The basic real world server room is there because you CAN die in the pegtrap segment if you stall for too long. Eventually Chica will get spawned on top of you and kill you, which forces the mask off first. Therefore, basic render of server room exists to avoid funky stuff happening during the jumpscare.

The door above the Roxy salon actually *is* there in the base game. Originally it linked up to a series of catwalks above the "backstage" area that let you travel to places like a balcony above the main stage easily. In the final version of the game, the backstage was cut, reduced to a texture on a window in the spam E minigame.
If memory serves, the balcony still has collision, but I think the door was changed to level 10 security to keep you from opening it, and I know for a fact that if you do open it the backstage will not automatically load, you have to force it to with commands.

A simple thing I noticed, but figured it would be neat enough to explain.
I'm studying game development, and I have gone over and made a simple 2D game. The reason the sprites are on different heights in the Feeding Frenzy game (if i remember this correctly) is so they will show above the other sprites. 2D games DON'T need them to phsyically touch on the Z axis during interactions via collision, as they only care aboot the X and Y axis.
As mentioned, its nothing special, just a simple part of layering.
(I apologize for any misinformation though, as it has been a while and I have spent my focus on 3D games.)

My theory for freddy having "proto.type" written on the bottom of his foot is that he's.... a prototype. Meaning this isn't the same freddy who we know as a friend. (This also explains how Gregory is out of the PizzaPlex with his friend who has the building schematics during the ending of the DLC)
well in the canon princess quest ending, freddy gets torn apart (he has the same indent in the chest) and gregory and vanessa escape with freddy’s head (which explains why freddy is headless and not connected to the VANNI system) so it has to be the same freddy.

the Prototype on Freddy's foot, could help to explain why he never got corrupted, he also doesn't appear in AR mode probably because the V.A.N.N.I network is for Pizzaplex maintenance and technically there isn't anything wrong with his programming where as Roxy, Chica, Eclipse and Monty were corrupted by Glitchtrap virus until they were rebooted.
That detail of the bonnie during montys death is fascinating seeing as how monty is believed to have "decommissioned" bonnie and the bonnie light takes out monty.

Given that Princess Quest is likely the ending that leads to Ruin that means Gregory took Freddy's head with him leaving the shattered body behind. Combine that with the fact that headless freddy has a jumpscare in SB we can close our eyes and pretend there's continuity.
I hope someone makes a full map of the Pizzaplex. with what we know from Ruin and the base game. I just want to see how everything connects/used to connect.

I strongly object to 21:37 , in the server room on my first playthough I was gawking at Massive Pegtrap for too long and he SPAWNED MONTY ON ME and murdered me in cold blood. And it's not like I was staring at him for all that long, I was confused because Cassie announces his presence before you can actually see him. I was in that room for 2 minutes tops maybe, but him spawning on me startled me and ever since I have moved through that room with *great* haste.

Server room seems to be about all the AI operation in the facility, so assumedly mimic would've corrupted it in SB, and the entity might be there just to stop it from doing that again.
Perhaps you there's the real world server room cuz they wanted to originally add it(maybe entity could've been a threat) but maybe time constraints/plan falling through.

I feel like I remember seeing some more battery acid right before Roxy's decommission, like somewhere along the right wall. And a fun detail I noticed is that there's an inhibitor on the final set of the gondola ride.
Maybe you can't restore Monty... but maybe there's a way to restore Bonnie instead? Or maybe even use Monty/Bonnie to repair the other one. I don't know. Might be worth a shot later if there ends up being a way.

In one of the original Security Breach out of bounds videos, there was an unused room with a bunch of upside-down silos lined up similarly to the way those server towers are here. That leads me to assume the silos were merely placeholders, or were repurposed for the DLC.

I think the prototype on Freddy's foot is just to show that it's not the same one that Gregory was with, since it sounds like Gregory says "I can't have him follow us"

Monty didn't get the claw upgrades until after Bonnie died. No means.
Monty was often found on the catwalks above Monty Golf. No opportunity.

Also, I'm fairly certain he only started raging after Bonnie died, and despite Bonnie *appearing* to just enter Monty Golf, he was not only behind Bonnie Bowl, but he sent out an alert which attracted wet floor signs, implying that the struggle happened there.
And also Bonnie spent hours not getting to Monty Golf. My guess is that he was framed, intentionally or not.
Apparently the leading theory is that the Mimic is what killed Bonnie, because neiter Freddy nor Roxy seem like they'd kill Bonnie with as much deliberation as hiding it. Also I don't see why Chica would kill Bonnie, but I don't know what the motive would be.
