This is the most useful video I’ve found on this topic. I’m trying to install mine and the idea to use Velcro for the rear footwells is brilliant as there’s no solid plastic to attach it to, only fabric. I’m glad I watched this before I peeled off the tape… thank you!!

I love the idea of the dancing lights according to the music, I just don't know how distracting that would be for you or other driver's. I am sure the lights are visible from other cars driving next to you, especially one's that are higher up.
Same here, Anthony! The addition of the dancing lights is such a awesome little touch! I usually only use the dancing feature during the day (or at night when I am at a stand still); because they can be a bit on the distracting side at night while driving (not only for me, but also for others around me). Funnily enough the high trim Kia Seltos here in Australia now has this standard. It doesn’t work on mine though as it’s via app control, and it overrides the music through CarPlay, same with Bluetooth too. Personally I think low brightness and a solid neutral colour looks the classiest, as it looks like factory fitted footwell lights.

Love the vids also a good brand that also has LED interior lights is govee where it has different modes that u put on it from your phone but also u can change brightness and u can make ur own mode for the colors u like :)

Any idea if you can change the default colour the lights are when you turn them on? I just got some, but every time i turn my car on they turn straight onto colour changing mode instead of a static colour 😂
I also own one of these kits and from my experience, they remember what setting you last left them on. So, if you want it to power on with a specific color, make sure to chose that color before powering them off and it should store it in memory for the next time you turn them on.
I totally understand. These lights look soooo good! But, the wires can be a bit annoying to look at... If you hide the wires well, they won't be too noticeable. I tried my best to hide them, and barely notice them on a day-to-day basis. But, if you have a beige interior car (or anything that's not black) the wires will be much more apparent. I have to say, everyone who has rode in my car (especially at night) has loved these footwell lights. They're very unique and offer a vibrant and stylish flair to your cabin. The price is right too! Is it possible to hardwire this kit?

Light is great... But those wires make me sick
