Bjorge using LabVIEW for monitoring Ormen Lange Pipeline

Ormen Lange is the largest natural gas reservoir in the world and is located off the west coast of Norway. Bjorge and a few other companies are working to create a 1200 Kilometer pipeline 1000 meters below the surface of the sea that will pump natural gas from the Ormen Lange reservoir in Norway to the UK. Bjorge used the LabVIEW embedded module with the Blackfin processor to create a monitoring system that monitors the condition of the pipeline in the rough terrain of a large undersea rock slide.
