Seriously. I'd love to see another Prelude. I love the 4th/5th gen, they were quick even stock, looked great and handled great. Interior was better than my (then) 1998 Eclipse GS-T (I'm a Mitsu fan, now own a stock '95 3000GT VR-4) and it was nearly as fast stock to stock. I drove a 5th gen SH and wanted one as a DD, I was super impressed with the handling and quality, couldn't find one that wasn't salvage or raped to hell by some kid. Ended up with a much more boring Mercedes-Benz E420. Did you mod any of yours? Why are they so underrated by Honda fans?! If I was into Hondas my first choice would be a Prelude.

The 5th gen was just lowered with Civic type r wheels, i didn't want to modify it a lot because it was so nice to drive. The 4th gen i used to use as a track car and had quite a lot of modifications, was pushing out 228 bhp with bolt on modifications and it was quite a quick car with all the weight taken out of it. I've never really understood why they were never that appreciated by other Honda enthusiasts, i always just asumed it was because they were more expensive to insure than the Civics. When i had my 4th gen a lot of my other friends wondered why i sold my Civic for it but they soon changed there opinion once they went in it. I love Civics but the Preludes are a much more special place to sit in comparison. Especially the 4th gen with big digital dash.

I liked that Eclipse but I own a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 that i absolutely love, it's all stock and runs 13.2-13.4@102-104 depending on how bad I feel like absuing my clutch lol. It was sold as the GTO in the UK if I'm not mistaken but I think your guys version has 280BHP, we got 320bhp and 315tq. It's not the best around corners but it's the fastest car stock that I've owned in a straight line, and I'll never modify it. I really want a Prelude as a DD, but all the ones I see are either huge mileage or trashed by some young kid. I'd trade in my E420 DD for a nice 4G or 5G in a second.

I'm definitely an AWD/RWD fan, 2 AWD cars (2019 Golf R DSG and 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, believe it or not the VR4 is almost as fast and it's stock) and my DD is RWD (Mercedes E420) with some light mods. I've also always had a soft spot for Preludes. Im not a Honda fan at all but they're awesome cars - great lines, quick, not torqueless like most Hondas, and lots of tech. BTW, have you noticed the fanboying around the new Civic Type R? It's INSANE.

There's more value to keep it stock. Trust me I just spent the last 3 months with probably close to 500 hrs of research and finally got a fat list of parts together. Let's just say the total of the parts came to be a nice down payment on the new civic type R. The next collector cars are Japanese cars from the 90s so keep is stock you can't go wrong. I bought an SH just to mod it and its not worth it, there's not many left that are original.
That Sir-S Spec is super clean and really tight looking!! I got a USDM 1999 Honda Prelude in Nordic Mist paint w/black factory leather and factory 5 speed manual shift. 5thgen is one of the best handling FWD cars Ive ever driven.
The bb6 s-spec is like a type r. I have a 97 with a red interior sir swap plus a H22a red top. Other parts I have is the type s flush spoiler with Jdm fogs and window rain guards. H22a red top has 220 hp and 161 torque. It pulls nice and vtec crossover sounds so nice
My first vtec passenger experience was about nearly 20 years ago in a previous generation prelude. It was my brothers in-laws car had an exhaust sounded sick

I went with and still own an all stock 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4, it's fast in a straight line (runs consistent 13.2-13.4@102-104mph depending on how much I want to ruin my clutch lol) but I cross shopped it with the FD3, Z32 and MK4, and I loved the FD3. Handles insanely well and so gorgeous, and I liked the sequential TT set up. It was so light, like Lotus light. Ended up getting the VR-4 because I loved the torque rush and it was faster off the line than the (imo overrated) Supra Twin Turbo which drove boring - and I'm a huge AWD fan.

I actually found myself a Fifth Generation Honda Prelude SE Five Speed manual transmission and I just actually want to ask them if they would ever consider selling it because it has been sitting on their driveway for about 15 years now or so because I moved into that area and it was sitting on their driveway when I moved into that area around 2007 or 2008 and I actually want to try and buy it off themselves and try and get it back on the road all over again here it has some rust because I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada witch has snowy climate and I just actually wondering if something is wrong with it so I can definitely fix it up and then definitely install a bunch of JDM goodies on that Prelude SE

Awesome prelude s spec, nyc colour choice Phoenix yellow on white mags dc2 integra type r theme .couple years back was going to get a dc2 integra type r championship white with white mags, then i saw a random prelude come up on trade me in nz ,gold in colour on Bronze mags ,mugen muffler ,lowered, body kit ,cold air intake pod filter ,h22a7 red top conversion plus lsd 5speed gearbox long story short i went with the sir S spec prelude at 1st i had little regret thinking i should of got dc2 type r integra, but just over a year later no regrets h22a7 pull much harder than b18c7 an even k20a2 ,i a race with vw a4 awd 2.0l iL4 dohc turbo beat it ,vr4 galant series 2 2.0l v6ttmodified many others ,h22a prelude the pitbull terrier of the car scene underestimated then nek minnet seeing my tail lights nz honda all day
Im sorry to let you know but integras pull harder 100 percent so i feel like ur trying to justify your decision. Ill give you something real tho to justify ur decision. The h22 is the best sounding inline 4 ever made hands down so use that when bragging about ur car but dont pretend its quicker

Integras feel quicker cause they lighter and have closer ratio's in gearbox. H2B civic Ek/Eg is quicker than most type R Integra and civics mod for mod.

Im not a Honda fan but the Prelude was the coolest car Honda ever created. Why do Honda fans overlook them? I asked someone back in the 90s and they mentioned something about them not taking well to mods? I drove a 5th gen SH and it was amazing. I owned a stock 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T at the time, and although the Prelude felt slower, it did *everything else better* . I almost switched lol. Later, about seven years ago, I wanted one as a DD and couldn't find one that wasn't 200k miles plus or trashed by some teenager, I must have gone and looked at seven of them and none were appropriate. Shame, I ended up with a boring E420 instead. I still want one.

The car is engineering masterpiece. I cant help,but wonder who on Earth would dislike car like that? My guess is VW/Skoda toilet owners? If there is anything i would add to that car is change the color,immediately,install Morimoto bixenon HID beams,and of course,Enkei RS05.
Beautiful prelude I'd keep it like that but I know there are time when you want to revise it. I had a 4th gen all gens are such beautiful underrated gems.
4th gens are my favorite. They were quick stock, high 6s to 60 and probably high 14s with a good driver. A good race stock v stock against a Mitsu Eclipse turbo 1G.

I hate yellow cars but I love preludes and I guess a Prelude is the only car I will accept in yellow ... Mind blown..... That looks sick guys. In a way I'm kind of ashamed to admit this but I would definitely drive that yellow car and not want to change the colour at all.. it's kind of giving me a new respect for yellow on a car. I've owned 3 preludes II from 1986 and a beauty from 1993 with an S2000 motor swap she was a beast. awesome video guys can't wait to see that "yellow prelude" with some hop ups and supercharger!!😀

I have a RWD Honda and a FWD Prelude. Prelude it's just better at speed while cornering. Never think twice when you want a Prelude

H22 is such a great motor. I would blow people away in my 94 si lude. The sound and torque was great.

I hate yellow cars but I love preludes and I guess a Prelude is the only car I will accept in yellow ... Mind blown..... That looks sick guys. In a way I'm kind of ashamed to admit this but I would definitely drive that yellow car and not want to change the colour at all.. it's kind of giving me a new respect for yellow on a car. I've owned 3 preludes II from 1986 and a beauty from 1993 with an S2000 motor swap she was a beast. awesome video guys can't wait to see that "yellow prelude" with some hop ups and supercharger!!😀
