Excelente 👌 soy un viejo de 64 años y siempre me gusto su música a pesar de que me gustaba la música bailable de mi época ,pero Chicago tiene un sonido especial.
Unbelievable!! Did they kick ass or what. The horns make this band so unique. They are an intrical part of the bands sound and style 🎉 .Just saw them at the Hard Rock 3 weeks ago. These guys play like they are 20 years old They are better now than in the 70’s. 😮 “. Rock On “ guys . We will never get old.
Neil Donnell may not play bass, but he is the closest voice to Peter's of any of the replacements. He sounds particularly good on this version of 25 or 6 to 4. The band has never sounded better instrumentally.
@@__GALLANT__ I listened to Jason Scheffs out of time pitchy voice got 30 years. He was terrible singing Peters songs. I did see one performance from the early 90s where he sounded decent on 'Ive been searching so long', but that was rare. Even when in tune the sound of his voice is grating. Jeff Coffey wasn't bad. Donell can hit the high notes better than any of them now, including Peter himself. Peter hasn't sang these songs in the original key for 30 years.
@@mattparker2323 Hey man . . I lost track of Chicago's band members names; no doubt. I used to play all their music in various bands I was in through the years (tpt) but these adds to the line-up sometimes baffle me. 1st saw Chicago Transit Authority, 2nd bill to opener Santana, June '68, Fillmore West, 1 yr. B4 1st album for either; for headliner Big Brother & The Holding Co.w/ Janis Joplin! I was 13, drummer, & lover of horns; just moved from literally end of paved road in N. Central WA state; Wow! When their music & Santana's hit radio yr.later, I remembered it instantly!
I have watched this over and over! I absolutely love it! Chicago was the perfect band to have for the 4th. Every generation loves their music! Happy 4th!
@@datzme49 That's true. I love this band. I was playing "Does Anybody Really Know What Time it Is" on the trumpet the day the album came out. I just hate it when I hear such a talented group blow it with a singer that is singing beyond his range.
Sip. Lo máximo. Mis hijos crecieron oyéndolos, pero cuando pedí un msje para uno de ellos super-fan que se graduaba, no me contestó nadie. Le escribí a Robert Lamm y busqué todas las vías posibles pero quedamos frustrados
A lot of you guys are so negative. Neil Donell is a tenor that has to sing above and below his range to sound like 4 different lead singers. Give him a break. He is a good singer for the Chicago songs. He left a vary good career in Canada to bail out Chicago. The original guys in Chicago (Lamm, Pankow) are approaching 80 . Neil can quit any time and leave Lamm & Pankow to find another lead . Perhaps you downers should listen to the Russian/Ukraine band Leonid & Friends which has been travelling the US for 3+ years. AND filling venues 2 and 3 times over. Be positive of the fact that you can go see and hear a live band that brings back the memories of the 1970's. If you don't like the singing - don't listen to it. Simple.
Chicago without Terry Kath and Peter Cetera is not the same like they were before. Sad also that Bill Champlin left the group , too. Of course...Robert Lamm, and the brass players are damn good!
They still sound awesome with those horns. That's what I thought was cool growing up in the 70's. Jimbo Mexican American, former US Navy radioman petty officer 86-96.
07:11 WHO told this guy he could sing? I absolutely love this band but listen to this. Damn. And it's not a 'one-off'. He blows it every time he goes for the high note there. Flatter than pancake. Come on CHICAGO. You guys are better than this. Replace this guy. Please. Can't you hear this Peter?
@@lamotta6 I didn't listen to their entire performance; that's true. My wife and I were out and came in in the middle of the thing. I always liked that band a LOT. Like many trumpet players of that "era", I played in bands all over the country and we always included several of the Chicago tunes. I was a young trumpeter (16) when "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is" came out and it was just like a magical song or something. Anyway . . . I don't want to belabor the subject. They need to work with this guy if he's going to continue singing with them IMHO.
Loved CHICAGO from the beginning ❤
Terry and Peter should be proud how Lamm has continued with the band and has kept their vocals on point.
Robert Lamm is perhaps the most underrated IMPORTANT pop musician of our lifetime. Love his dedication and his excellence.
I love Lamm, and have always dug the band, but please please please stop saying THE MOST UNDERRATED

What a great American band. So glad I got to see them live. This is good, yea, but being there is something else!
