Lee (original member on trumpet)on that double F# @1:19. He’s got chops.
im a chicago fan...and wow that vocalist is amazing
The whole band did a phenomenal performance . And that dude sang the s#!+ out of that song!
Neil 🤘
I thought that was a chord😂. I tried to musicaly read it and then i got it😂😂.
Nah he's shouting and giving migraines
Thanks Chicago for a great show in Albuquerque last week! Hope to see you again next year!
I went to see them twice and this iconic song is the number one main reason why I'm a fan of Chicago and I'm friends with the current and former members of the band.
Do you know that it is about meditation?
Timeless
My fav of the whole evening!!!
uh,...that is not the guitar solo i was expecting. but they still sounded great as a band. if you haven't heard the original solo, you should hear it first, then hear this.
You got it! 🤟
To be fair that guitar player has enormous shoes to fill! Terry Kath was irreplaceable!
In fairness, who hasn’t heard the original
I agree. The original one is much better. I loved their live concert with earth wind and fire
Too many band member changes recently
Fabulous! Spot on. Fan since I first saw them at 12 yrs old! 🎉
A capital fourth 2024 sesame Street live stream 🎉❤😊
Very enjoyable. But honestly if you want to hear how the guitar solo is really done, watch Chicago live at Tanglewood July 21, 1970, here on UA-cam. Terry Kath plays one of the greatest lead solos ever on this song. It still gives me goosebumps!😋😋
And Cetera
Yeah, we know…
🌴😏 Is that David Lee Roth singing.?
hahahaha..now that you mention it. But....Roth can't really "sing." So it can't be him.
As a cynical Canadian:
This is one of the most awesome, most American things I've ever seen.
And the singer, Neil Donell is Canadian.
Wonderful!! 🎸🎶🎺
Toujours des frissons après toutes ces années ! Merci Chicago ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow. Awesome 😎👍👍👍👍👍
This band is awesome today Still the man with the dark glasses sounds awesome ¡
Old dude can still bring it.
I have a bunch of concerts/interviews on my channel (going back over 50 years)
Anyone who says Neil sounds terrible should have their ears checked.
His voice fits perfectly with Chicago!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Who’s that monster singer?!
Neil Donell and I've seen them in concert twice and he can belt it out for sure!!😍
@@Betmcmullen He is a Peter Cetera wanna be.
Peter Cetera sung it originally. That guy is a hack.
Are they're any of the original members currently touring? (Sorry I'm a millennial but I love their songs)
The 3 guys that make up the horn section are the only original members
@@keithsullivan5815the keyboard player and the trombone player and the trumpet player are the only original guys left….The current sax player replaced the bands founder Walt in i think 2016
@@keithsullivan5815Actually, Robert Lamm on keyboards is one of the three remaining original members. Only two in the horn section are original members.
The original sax player has to retire secondary to Alzheimer's unfortunately 😢
Some very bad answers here. Arguably the most signature member of the band is still there. Robert Lamm, who wrote not only this song, but is both the writer and the lead singer of Saturday In The Park, Beginnings, and Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is, has been there the entire time.
Neil sounds more like Jason than Peter.....and that's o.k.
Fitting Joke Joe had the fireworks go off on this song ABOUT DOING COCAINE EARLY IN AM
Great performance 😍😍
But WTF very poor audio !!! ☹😤
Smoking!

Chicago doesn’t sound Chicago without Peter Cetera.
Great song and performance! Bread and circuses is all the ruling elite have to give as America’s middle class disappears into a morass of for profit endless war!
Not a clue. the middle class is alive and well. and the poor have elevated as well.
Who's the lead singer here?
Neil Donnell
Tribute band
THREE original members. That's more than the Stones 🙄
Lol 😆
This vocalist is perfect for them. Much better than Jason Scheff.
Singer sang sharp. He was off. If you want to hear this as it was meant to be? The Tanglewood version from 1970 was FAR superior to this...not because it's old...because it's just musically better. Trust me.
Disagree... these guys are still great! We aren't in the 70s, by the way.
I just saw them live in Clearwater, FL... Spectacular!!
@@DD_LetTheDogsOut Thanks for telling us what time it is. Does anybody really know? And since you didn't see them in the early 70s, how can you compare? It's mostly a different band?
@gooddaysahead1 Well, I can disagree.✌️ Next, I LOVED it! They rocked!👏 I was looking to see if they were close enough for me to go again. I hope I see them next year!
Am I here to listen to something musically superior? If I were, I wouldn’t be watching anything close to this video.
Of course something performed in a person‘s prime is gonna sound like it was performed in their prime…. Who cares if he’s sang sharp, it doesn’t take away from the genuineness
I think you have quite a misconception of the whole reason why any of us are here
Oh boy here comes the Famous record producer..... Oh wait you're not? You're just a ham and egger? Damn i'm not going to see them now because YOU said so
Karaoke singer Neil every one. Joke. Shame on Pankow & Lamm for replacing Jeff Coffey & Jason Scheff for this clown.
Fixe.
The vocalist is always too high! That hurts (but only if you got ears!)
The only difference I notice is the hair fall
THIS IS NOT CHICAGO, dont fool yourselves....
Joe Biden trying to figure out where to exit a stage be like, "Is it 25 or 6 to 4?"
@@OGKush555 That went right over your head.
Really pitchy dawg
not bad.... but an embarrassment to Terry Kath's solo!
lead singer was off key
He can still hit the high 🎶
He actually goes sharp on some of the hold notes. Probably from pushing too hard.
Most times singers are flat on the higher registers, but his problem is the opposite....not a bad thing. Wish I had what he's got!
That is the beauty of a live performance without autotune. You are obviously under 40 and/or have not been to many live performances before 2000.

Zacly
I heard that nowadays singers are not allowed to sing live by contract, cuz they dont want the public how shetty they really sound..
Ugh
Just not the same. This guy sucks.
Wou wou..that singer ...fals notes...fals, fals..🤑🤑🤐
Beautiful! Takes me way back!🤗
