Thank you, all my questions were answered in the first 3 minutes. Thank you.
Nice practical advice. Good job.
Thx for the video. Very informative.
Well done sir. Thorough and concise. Thank you.
Thank you!!
It is helpful ~
Thanks so much
If placed in a laundry room with the main electrical panel, washer and dryer, I'm wondering if the wifi signal ricochets off of the metal objects making the signal even worse. Any thoughts?
Thanks. My router is fiber so my signal concerns are inside the limestone brick main house. Trying to improve signal to detached studio over the garage.
Not every router has wifi built in, you need to make people aware of that, and the fact that they can combine a router with a wireless access point (AP). This is especially important for those that combine wired with wireless. The combination of a router+AP allows for far more flexibility than a single wifi router, not just from a network perspective, but also on from the perspective of where to place the equipment.
I use double NAT so that I can use some of the features in my router such as SQM.
Basic radio wave propagation theory - the wavelengths are 12.5 cm and 6 cm - also don’t have your router near to communication devices like my kenwood 430 . Even unplugged it can draw down signal .
I live in a 2 storey house. Equivalent to 1500-2000sq ft. I’m about to install a fibre internet. Should i place my main routers upstairs in my planned studio room? Or should i just put it in the living room downstairs? N buy a couple of mesh to boost the signal upstairs?
Here in Australia, a rooter is a very different thing 😂
In the US as well 😂
Haha yes
Hahaha. Good to see others cracking jokes about accents.
Got an inquiry, though might not be directly from this video. I seem not to have internet access on my desktop even when I connect Mifi and router using USB or Ethernet, respectively. I have tried updating drivers on the PC but still not helping. What could the problem?
Video would have been much better if you complemented the tips, with some practical examples on screen. Visual representation is always a must.
How do we alter router channels? My router is defaulted to two channels 2.4ghz and 5ghz
Long story short: remove all appliances, mirrors, metal and electronics from your house for your WiFi to work best.
Hi Chris! I wonder if you are interested in a UA-cam collaboration? Let me know!
This rooter is making me laughits so damn funny. 😂
What if there is no good place in my home to put it.
Talking head is never good
"ROOTER";-Like a pig, 'rooting"?

So confused.
is it wind cheater or ?
is it Grey or Gray...or does it even fuckin' matter, after all...
It's America that makes the language now and has since the late 1800's
I find accents fascinating.
