Don’t forget guys please try not to comment about the hassle earlier in the week. We want to put it behind us and not even mention them. Welcome back 👌👍▶️
In the past my rule of thumb was if the front screen is intact even with crash(cracked) or fire(melted) damage you`ve got a half chance of a fast inexpensive repair...
Part of the reason I like Salvage Rebuilds is because it's clearly a business. It's great to see Rob n Chris's skills/professionalism and decision making based on the need to pay bills. It cuts so much of the BS out that we see on other channels. The fact that Rob n Chris are also so genuine and likeable is just brilliant👍
"The damage in here is minimal" as we get a shot with everything dash related removed. Comedy gold. Good luck boys, your both more than capable of making this superb once more.
Of course our Chris has a JCB to lift the engine out, doesn't everybody!😂😂😂 Brilliant content guys, looking forward to this build and finished numbers. 👍👍👍
When the JCB appeared I thought captain pike was going appear o captain manuring you don’t want to do it like that you want to do it like this. GOOD VLOG AS ALWAYS GUYS.
Chris and Rob you have just answered a question I've always wondered about, if it's possible to repair a fire damaged car. Really looking forward to this build, and hope you do some before and after pics. Great work. 👍
Wow this really is a very brave repair, looking forward to this series and following progress. Great Video as always. Have a great weekend both of you.
I salute your bravery in taking this on and not running away screaming. I've only ever done one fire damaged car and that was enough, never again. Years ago Mk3 Cortina 2000E, those were the days when Fords used to go up in flames every day and they were a lot simpler then too.
Correct me if I'm wrong Rob, you must wear hand protection when handeling burn wiring etc due to the possibility of Viton material and hydrofluoric acid.
Guys I thought the abandoned Ford Focus was a Mission Impossible. At the beginning this looked like the sequel-Mission Impossible 2. Robs always referring to parts as being toast but this one takes the biscuit 😂. Fantastic content guys. Reminds me of doing a jigsaw puzzle blindfolded. Looking forward to seeing this one complete. Brilliant!
Morning Rob and Chris. I can’t believe how upbeat you both sound while you pull the burnt out Fiesta to bits so Chris can fill up the skip lol 😆 This is going to be the very best salvage rebuilds ever 🤩 Have a lovely weekend guys cheers Stevie 😎
The relationship you guys have with Kent auto salvage has made a big difference on alot of jobs I've watch you do. That will be a lovely little motor once its done, cracking colour. Again great to watch 👍
you guys work very well together.. chris is very clean .. always sweeping up and keeping things in order.. no arguing or shouting .. just methodical .. professional work.. chris is very knowledgeable too.. rob does all the business end .. you both foil well together.. im binge watching this lol 👍
"Let's get involved" You really have got involved with that project, what a result to get on with it so fast and finding so little heat damage. Great vid for the channel and I really can't wait for the next one. Have a great weekend both of you. Many thanks, Jon.
Just when I thought you could not up your game any more after the Ford Focus here comes this project . Have absolute faith you guys can turn this into a beauty with a lot of hard work and your knowledge.
Chris " WTF have you brought now ? " Rob " it didn't look to bad in the pictures " Chris " here we go again ! " lol Now fellas another fantastic video looking forward to the finished arcticle
Can see someone has posted this video on fiestastoc mk7 forum asking who’s it is. I spotted the ST OC sticker as well so worth checking those forums as might hear more about it if the owner posts on there.
You guys never let us down. You have taken on a bit of a challenge this time. I think you do it to give us all great content . Just read in the comments that the colour is Burnt Orange, you really couldn't make it up Lol. You are absolute diamonds, keep up the good work.
What a challenge. Body looks sound but I can’t imagine having to rebuild everything. Top marks on taking this on. Brilliant content as always, stay safe Gents, Cheers 👍🏽🙂
I watch your channel out of interest, when you started this project I could not work out whether you were either mad or insane, yet your smiling enthusiasm shone through as you tore into this one and now the rest of the car does look salvageable. This has left me questioning whether it's me that is mad or insane cause you and Chris are genius.
Just wanted to say Rob and Chris I find your videos fascinating. Here's me who struggles to change a car tyre but can see a car on here so badly damaged yet be bought back to fantastic condition. Bravo chaps really enjoy watching the videos and always learn something new 👍
Found these guy's this weekend and know what, its wheeler dealers without the BS! Going to be my channel while the other half watches strictly come dancing.
All these years I didn't realise 'ST' meant 'Severely Toasted'... ;) This is going to be a literal phoenix from the flames. And I love the engine hoist...JCB Vs ST... :) Wish you all the luck guys to go with all your skills. :)
As an owner of 2 fiesta sts it's sad to see one so badly damaged but in both of your capable hands we all know you will do a fantastic job can't wait for the next video keep up the good work 😀😀
Cracking channel guys, I’ve been watching for a few weeks now and catching up with your older videos, it’s great to see you both working hard, doing the job right and earning a few quid for your efforts. Chris is the mechanic everyone wants to be, no none sense, clean and tidy and doing the job 110% right. This little ST is a monster of a job and I’m sure you’ll get it sorted in the end. A parts car will appear at some point and then you’ll be back at it. Thanks for taking the time to include us in your work, it makes a welcome change to the ‘usual’ salvage rebuild channels…. That’s enough of the waffle…. 👍
Phenomenal boys, simple as that. I've been a subscriber for a very long time now and you seem to go from strength to strength with builds, abilities and talent. I got to the end of this one wishing it would carry on for another half an hour! Keep up the good work 😎
You two are bonkers , no one else would tackle a job like this one , it's a shame people try to cover up the extent of the damage to rip people off at auction . A great video guys ,love your engine lift !!!!
This is going to be an interesting one! Can’t wait to see it finished 🙂 I think the colour might be molten orange? Atleast it’s the more common ST-2 more than the ST-3 (with loads of extras on). I think the ST-1 spec had normal ignition start with a key (not keyless).
Saw a st owners club sticker on there Rob maybe worth putting a post on there seeing if the owner is on there who has any information about it or even a set of keys
Just watched wearing my ear phones and the sound effects are awesome, especially Chris clearing up at the back. Its like being in the workshop with you. Excellent.
Wonder if rather than returning it to the road "properly" if it would be worth doing it into a track car. There's a nice market for a well done weekend toy and it could help make the rebuild a bit easier rather than looking for stock parts. Nice content lads, keep it up.
