    As someone who has worked on many farms and has dealt with this type of stuff there is a few things that I can say.
    1. The car park thing. Yes provided the pile gets big enough and stays undisturbed for long enough it can look like a car park. (I have made that mistake as well thinking it was a car park.)
    2. The guy smoking. Yes that literally shit is very flammable. Also, for those who don't know, the reason why you never cover shit pits is because of the heat the pit generates. The tarp on top will catch on fire because of the heat. And it stinks. A LOT.
    3. The cleaning. Get that off of you as soon as possible as it just stinks and also if you have open wounds (big and small) could be a health risk.
    4. Turning the heat up. Turning the heat up makes the decomposition process accelerate hence why the smell got so much worse.
    And also the boots. The fact that you needed 2 people to get them off. Damn.

    • @gnarthdarkanen7464
      @gnarthdarkanen7464 2 роки тому +18

      Especially on the cleaning up point... There's more than "sewage" in there, and bones are dangerous enough on their own, particularly since farmers and ranchers aren't often in the habit of post-mortuum medical exam's on dead livestock... No telling what killed them...
      BUT also because there's NO QUICKER way to get a septic wound than to break the skin and mash sh*t in it... It was effective for the Vietnamese to dig small pits into which they'd put a "punjy-board" (basic board with spikes pointed straight up) and then take a dump on it... A soldier who can't march (or walk) can't fight either...
      Be careful out there... ;o)

      You get used to it...

    • @jayzenstyle
      @jayzenstyle 2 роки тому +1

      It's either a coping mechanism or you get used to the trauma. I find myself being unnaturally calm after I injured myself riding my bike on a downhill slope towards a ramp. It was nice flying until you land flat with your face on the ground. And I just sat on the area I fell in for 15 minutes, looking at my cousin who checked me up if I was okay and me just silently nodding back.

    • @TheOriginalEviltech
      @TheOriginalEviltech 2 роки тому +1

      @@jayzenstyle No, it's not the same. You just stop minding the smell and soon you stop seeing the bad stuff about it. As for when you get hurt the body automatically goes in to a shock state and floods your system with pain killers. You might even enjoy the feeling in the beginning if you have a high enough pain threshold. However when the natural painkillers fade out the pain comes back and you are fully aware of the trauma you have experienced. As for the other case - you can only cope with the sh*t shame or not. She obviously has bigger problems in her daily life than to worry about being ashamed for falling in to the pit. I do admire her spirit and personality!

    This is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time! Thank goodness somebody had the presence of mind to take photos!

  • @gilgamesh7055

    Sometimes i forget to supress my ticks in public (theyre not verbal, just weird sounds and movements) and i practically set a bad first impression for work-collegues etc. I'ts a constant debate of "Do you wanna be uncomfortable for a long time or scratch that figurative itch that you know is gonna either come back soon after or get worse just because you scratched it".

      @Curious Creature and @Wolfwill
      I'ts not just sounds and noises. My head twitches, theres often an itch in my throat thats not physical and that i have to hum and cough in a weird way to satisfy, plus some stuff with my lips that i have no idea why im doing, like rolling my upper or under lip, or twisting my tongue in a tunnel and sticking it out of my mouth, almost like it massages the tongue muscles or something. Just a whole array of weird stuff. My little brother briefly had them when we were very young, although i don't know if he was just subtly mocking me or if it spread as some form of hysteria.

    • @connierose29687
      @connierose29687 2 роки тому +1

      @Gilgamesh yeah I understand! And tics are quite common at a young age, they're also genetic so with all those factors it makes sense why your brother would have tics! The ones you explained in that comment would be motor tics and the noise tics would be vocal, just in case you were asking (don't worry if you already knew that) :)

      @@suzyrottencrotch5132 y'know you don't have to have tourettes to have tics, I have tics, they're anxiety tics but its not tourettes. But theres a high chance that a lot of people that watch anita have tourettes because they might want to watch someone that knows how they feel, just like a lot of people in the lgbtq+ watch lgbt+ content creators, people tend to gravitate towards people that have similar experiences to theirs. I'm sure if people could turn off their tourettes, they would, but they can't! I'm ticcing right as I'm writing this, no ones watching me, I have no reason to, I just do.

    I grew up on a cattle farm, and I swear that same thing happened to me. It was our feces swamp. I was around 12 and trying to catch a little chicken for some reason. Didn’t notice where I was running towards and suddenly stuck into the feces. Its density was low, so I quickly sank up to my shoulders.
    Our worker heard me yelling, then pulled me out with a plastic pipe. Then he washed me with pressured water. Fun times

    Pretty much the exact same thing has happened to me lol. Was helping a friend with the construction of a new pit at there farm once due to the old one being obsolete. It was in the middle of the winter and the wind was hauling ass.
    The wind hit me and I managed to step on a patch of ice, wich made me slip and almost fall in the the new empty pit we were working on. But somehow I managed to correct myself and took a step back onto what I beleved was a dirt patch... It was not. I slide down as far as my chest before my friend managed to grab ahold of me and helped me up.
    Would not have been able to get out of there my myself. it was like trying to swim in oil or such.
