    Kirk thank you for posting this is probably the best rinsing cycle being used. so far I noticed this cycle is the only one that did spray rinses, unless I missed something in the other cycles you did! One of the things we can look out for and do a study on all these HE washes is which ones give better and worse rinses! This is definitely a great machine and I like the porcelain tub that you hardly see anymore!

    First of all, I now understand why my mom use to always wash towels, with towels. The ability for towels to retain more water than any other fabric makes it difficult to spin dry with any other garments while doing your laundry. Secondly, I thought the whole point of these washers' new engineering design was to meet the requirements for the dept of energy standards for water conservation? Seems like it is using way more water than the prior generation of machines. Even more than the conventional toploaders that we all prefer. Thanks for posting this Kirk. Great work as always.

    Excellent video showing that this machine still got job done in a extreme case of unbalance load! bravo ! N Kirk show these good people the bulky cycle N load up two pairs of jean n 12 shirts the roll over n circulation is still excellent n handle this load with ease I know because that’s what wash this morning in it plus underware n socks the bulky cycle adds the extra water for the extra large load ! N two items out of 12 shirts was heavy sweatshirt n light weight fleece jacket

    The out of balance spin 2 times and the way it was banging around makes it a NOOOOO for me Thanks for the video

    Kirk you should put this exact load in the 2018 Speed Queen and show them how it would handle this load.

    The greatest advantage to washing jeans as an exclusive wash is that the wash is always weight balanced. I'll bet that seven pair of jeans can be washed in this machine if laid on their side when loading and it would be balanced because they'd all weigh the same. I'd still like to see firmer struts on this suspension. Whirlpool could market it as having a more "European" feel.

    Good job balancing itself out ,it used more water but it fixed itself on its own. Not a bad machine for the price. Just need to load the clothes better .

    It actually turns the clothes over. Faster agitation is key, as well as a non indexing tub. Remember the washers from the 60's up until the 80's? Reminds me of those once fast agitation kicks in.

    On another video where you’re washing 5 pairs of dirty jeans you also set it to HEAVY DUTY, but the entire cycle lasted 36 minutes. On this video the cycle lasted 48 minutes. Can you explain ?

      To the best of my understanding and without examining both videos and from watching the Maytag MVWP575GW, sometimes the Maytag will do another spin based on the feed back it receives during the final spin. You think it is finished but it does another rinse and spin. Since the Whirlpool and Maytag are similar, Whirlpool (this washer) may have decided to do another spin on its own due to heaviness or unbalanced load.

      Thanks. Home Depot has a pretty good deal $746 plus free delivery and installation. I need a commercial washer that doesn’t take more than 35 to complete a cycle. So far this CAE2795FQ is the best I’ve found, except for the unbalanced load condition. Do you have other suggestions?

    • @kirkrivas8172
      @kirkrivas8172  5 років тому

      MVWP575GW from a local dealer or some of the Speed Queen models, also from a local dealer.

    My apartment building used this model. However, once I got very damp clothed due to unbalanced spin. (Yes, I washed some of jeans.)

      This one and the Maytag does not like unbalanced loads. It can be frustrating at times but your machine will thank you for it later.

    These are terrible machines in my opinion because they have the residential type suspension and can easily cause damage to the machine when overloaded

    20:44 - Intermediate Spin Unbalance (x2)
    20:49 - Final Spin Unbalance (x2)
    LOL
    That is funny though whenever the Washer unbalances, stops, & leaves out Extra Rinses, like back on the other Whirlpool Washer Model WTW5000DW, which is the Washer that my Mother has, when this happened on my side with the Whirlpool Washer Model WTW5000DW, it would unbalance up to 3 times with leaving out 3 Extra Rinses or so, then it would sense the Drum full of Water, drain out the Water that's in the Drum, then redo the Spin, which I've seen it do most likely when it's on Final Spin.
    Sometimes, all of this would cause the Washer to not spin at all during Final Spin, causing me to redo the Final Spin on "Drain & Spin", as I would get the Washer to spin so the stuff in the Washer won't be full of Water when the Washer is done & ready for me to put the stuff into the Dryer to dry them.
    So you should try that sometime whenever the Washer unbalances while spinning or so, like if Final Spin fails, redoing it on "Drain & Spin", so the Washer can spin & get all of that Water out for when you put the stuff in the Dryer afterwards.

    I'm sorry these new machines are suppose to be built to save water so the government says??? where was the water savings here??? why can't they just build the machine to shut off and sound a buzzer when the load becomes off balanced like the old kenmore's did instead of wasting all of that water trying to straighten itself out!!! all this talk about water conservation and yet theses machines are allowed to be passed??? come on get real people!!!

    • @petermaz701
      @petermaz701 6 років тому +2

      Robert Przybylowicz totally agree when the Kenmore we had was unbalanced it stopped and the buzzer sounded same for old Maytag it stopped, no buzzer. My old GE banged you could hear it upstairs and I hate to say so does my Speed Queen scary.

    • @maryrobert80
      @maryrobert80 6 років тому +2

      I know what you mean Peter, I had all of the machines that you described above and can relate to what you are saying... I had an LG washer too, that would fill up 3 and 4 times with water if the load became unbalanced and all I got out of that was a higher water bill!!! LOL

    • @williamcole4878
      @williamcole4878 6 років тому +3

      Robert this is why I like Speed Queen how they stick with the heavy duty suspension springs works great on every load.

    • @maryrobert80
      @maryrobert80 6 років тому +1

      I agree with you 100% William, Like I just said to Peter, I never want to experience something like that ever again!!!

      Robert I did read your other comment saying that you had a LG washer that blew up 4 years ago what did you have in the washer something bulky?

    Pleease, learn how to load a washer correctly. !

  • @petermaz701
    @petermaz701 6 років тому +4

    These washers absolutely cannot handle a slightly unbalanced load. Hanging on rods doesn’t cut it like thick suspension springs and shocks in older washers. I know this is cost cutting but it’s definitely wasting more water with its planned obsolescence. Give me VINTAGE or a Speed Queen.

    • @maryrobert80
      @maryrobert80 6 років тому +2

      Peter That's why I will never own a washer again that has those hanging rods, the LG that I mentioned in my other post exploded in my laundry room about 4 years ago causing damage to my dryer and the wall behind the machine!!! It sounded like a car hit the house or something and really scared the S**T out of me!!! Take a look on u-tube here about those machines, just type in "washers that explode" and that will give you an idea of what i went through!!!

    • @petermaz701
      @petermaz701 6 років тому +2

      Robert wow but what is the public suppose to do? That’s all that’s being offered except for front loaders. All the manufacturers seem to have gone this route.

    • @maryrobert80
      @maryrobert80 6 років тому +1

      Peter, That's why I'm sticking with the Speed Queen because of the way that it's built!!! I'll never want to have to experience that day ever again!!!
