Finally someone addressing this. To be fair, it's an elephant in the room for anyone out there who has a bit of a scientific mindset. Some "systems" have many faults and are confusing people further about typology instead of helping them acquire coherent knowledge. There's no need to reinvent the wheel, we already have a fairly good system. I agree with you 100% on what type is. If the big 5 gives certain results for a person (or other psychological factors come in) then MBTI will not be enough to correctly and fully assess them. It's true that introversion / extroversion in MBTI is hard to pinpoint because we can't clearly define it on a spectrum in this system, it's either introvert or extrovert. But if someone is ambiverted like myself (and a very large part of the general population), the problem in defining someone like that arises. People mostly see me as an extrovert, only some recognise me as an introvert, I see myself as an introvert with quite a strong need for extroversion at times. I know I couldn't maintain certain levels of extroversion at all times, but only living in introversion is also not great.
I certainly enjoy your community reviews and find them to be a great critical review of the type sphere. For me it's less about calling specific people out and more so about giving those in the community the tools they need to come to conclusions on their own.

But it's not all you need to know. Type is the basis, on top of that lies the lived experience which also shapes people, plus mental health issues that can have a major influence on how people react and decide. Of course the creators of the systems you talked about know and say that, but there's no way they could take that into account, so they don't do it, never talk about it but still confidently talk about their bazillion types or talk in absolutes like "every xxxx type runs into this specific problem and they always try to solve it by doing xyz". And since we all agree that everybody uses every function (but not to same extent), it looks pretty pointless to me to subdivide the 16 types. I see every type as a spectrum. Where you stand within your own type depends on a few factors, I think mostly the experiences you made so far. I guess we all can agree that people change through their whole live, through conscious and unconscious choices. That doesn't change your type, but where you are on the spectrum of your type. Typology is a tool to understanding. It's not a tool for prediction or a cookbook with simple recipes for handling life's problems...
Socionics is neglected in the MBTI community because of the learning curve. yet that is actually the reason why it is most accurate. It is rock solid imo 🙏😎❤️ MBTI is trash and in this video you are basically saying this. Learn the Socion homie, it’s fantastic 🙏
