Can I just say that I really appreciate the fact that you didn't just projectile spam your way through the fights and actually played the game? Also, i'm happy that playing this made you want to check out the show even if you didn't like the gameplay itself. I like the game myself but I can completely understand why a lot of other people wouldn't since it does have a lot of issues that shouldn't be there considering the history of the devs. Minions in boss fights is kind of Team Ninja's MO though, it's always been their solution to making boss fights harder and it was as crappy then as it is now except now you also have a character who's way less capable than Ryu is.
Game is great. I love it BUT I find it infuriating when I’m trying to block only to get hit multiple times by an enemy far away. I also got more enemies in certain battles here....the evil spirit was insane. I got sooooooo many enemies all at once! I maxed out my Stats and still I die because of the damn consecutive hits I get while trying to block! I just mashed buttons and I won, after like 8 continues. What was you score after the mission? I’m assuming SSJ? I also feel the game is a little harsh in terms of grading you on how many items you use.....
Imagine giving a kid who is a fan of the show this, now imagine the joy of telling him is not butter. In the future if a kid asks me what is Samurai Jack imma show them this right here and then tell them... It is the best sauce to dance.
I would've liked to see the Demonic Spirit from "Jack and the Haunted House", but maybe that would've been too difficult to animate. Pity we don't see the Ultra-Robots, even as regular enemies.
You know even though this game is canon the ending of ot with jack and ashi for some reason to me is satisfying but you know that thats not how it originally played out

I’ve played it myself & still going on Master Samurai Difficulty, but on Samurai Difficulty, I fought Aku while his Shinobi minions entered the room. Idk what it’s like on Master Samurai, but I imagine it’s gonna be a bit difficult with flying enemies.
Hearing John DiMaggio as the Scotsman always give me shivers: he's one of my favorite voice actor along with Ron perlman and Tim Curry. Even in 2024 i still hate Josephine (Grey DeLisle): for me bounty hunters are like hyenas always attacking for the booty and Josephine are so bitchy. Scaramouche is a real laughing stock but that's why i love that bad guy: he lack serious and that's make him more relatable.

This genuinely looks like a PS2 game. Which I suppose is appropriate, given the age of the show and such.
With the combat having both swordplay and gunplay the way it does, the one it reminds me the most of is Blood Will Tell: Osamu Tezuka's Dororo.
yeah I recomend watching the cartoon. Jack is really good at fighting and even when things are really bad he figures a way to beat the obstacle

The main combo jack goes for is identical to the tengu dance sword combo you learn in nioh 2's 1st dlc. So cool.

A commendable effort to fix the shortcomings of Season 5 being cut short, but man, the Samurai Jack visual style really does not translate to 3D well.
The facial expressions are exactly the same, which I'd say makes it look almost authentic. It does have an eerie feeling to it, but I like it.
Does this game change the ending from the season 5 ?
