B. The fact you can properly plug in the phone to charge while recording is a HUGE deal even if you have a new phone with great battery life.
I’ve had an early version of the SmoothQ for years, and the most annoying thing (aside from it really not being made for a phone as heavy / big as the iPhone 14 pro max) is that even with my iPhone X I couldn’t really plug it in while it was in the gimbal.
The DJI Osmo Mobile 4 that's been around for a few years also had the option to charge your phone while shooting...
I have the Smooth Q2 and I can plug my phone to it and use it as a powerbank.
Yeah, the osmo mobile se (minus the selfie stick) does practically EVERYTHING this does, while also being dji AND $50 cheaper

Gimbal sucks, the gimbal gets in the way of the footage. I tested it. Dont know why no one talks about this. Is usually people with affiliate links that dont mention it

would like to see this compare with Dji OM6 which has almost exactly the same features, man even the “object tracking “ interface look extremely similar
And have had tracking since osmo mobile 1.... I have seen to many of my favourite UA-cam rs being ruined by a £100 device that we want a real review on!

Okay this gimbal doubling as a power bank is a game changer for me! Getting this now!
I've only just gotten my very first gimbal and it was some cumbersome when first starting up. Felt like putting on an oldschool space suit which even know is clunky but doable. Still barely getting to grips with it and one thing I instantly thought of buying before I even opened the box was a power bank. Glad to see this not only lasts but doubles as one for the phone.

I enjoy your Insta360 videos, be it shorts or regular videos! You didn't mention that the Link could be customised at the black portion, which feels a bit like Nothing product design. But, this gimbal is really really cool with all the features that you have mentioned in the video!

I'm not overly blown away because it seems basically like a dji osmo gimble with a few extra features. But nothing mind blowing or never seen before.

The DJI om 4 se has a similar setup, it may be lacking the wheel but it also has a zoom feature too, it also comes with a price tag that is 60 dollars less than this. The dji om 4 also has gesture control and face tracking

Just got a Zhiyun Smooth 5 a couple weeks ago and it can do pretty much everything this can. AI object tracking, barrel roll mode, 360° panoramas, etc.
The only things here that impressed me is how compact this is and how much simpler the controls are. And most of all, how easy it is to mount your phone on on. On the Zhiyun, you'd need to balance it manually.
Really cool tool; best gimbal I've seen so far, hands-down. Price is between $159 and $209 in America right-presently-now, plus probably shipping and tax. I'm impressed. If I were remotely pro at anything, I'd be all over that.
The only thing that would have made this video better would’ve been discussing how it works with external smartphone camera gear like moment lenses
My dji osmo 3 i bought a few years back does most of the features mentioned, the built in tripod and selfie stick is handy but other than that i expected more from an "AI" gimbal
Great video.. ALMOST got every feature..but you forgot about one MAJOR feature it has which is always something else you have to buy or get an adapter - The Flow has a built in cold shoe mount - so mounting your mic or mic receiver onto it for better sound it a breeze! honestly, a small thing but a game changer for simplicity!

Arun...by chance can you check if Android has the same modes and features as iOS? DJI Mimo on Android is locked at 30 fps, no manual ISO or Shutter Speed control, no slow motion. So I have to use the Samsung Native Camera for 4k60 video, slow motion video, or Pro Mode video. DJI Mimo is only used to calibrate or change settings. I have not seen any other phone used to test the Insta Flow gimbal other than iPhone

I don't know how he does it, but the delivery of this presentation is the reason why I trust Arun with tech reviews. Every single product I've bought that was featured in one of his videos has worked flawlessly, and I truly appreciate the amount of effort put into every video. This video is one of my favorites so far because of the fact that this video managed to cover the wide span of features of the product, while keeping the video at seven minutes. These videos are spot on, and I cannot wait to see more gadgets being reviewed!

One question on handling maximum weight or when we use any external filters for 13 pro max or 14 pro max ?
The most important thing actually is: does it works with Samsung? I had to do a really deep search for a good gimbal that the app integrates with Android and finally got the Power Vision S1, but it was a hard search, not everyone uses IPhone and the gimbal companies usually forgets about that.
Insta360 seems to be the king of this kind of videography! Such crazy products!

Wow, that looks like an incredible gamble. Only thing I can think of that could improve. It is to have wireless charging capability built-in but I’m sure that will be coming sooner than later as well.
1:42 Not *every* dimension. Only three. Cameras with sensor-shift stabilization can have correction on five dimensions of motion, which allows them to slightly correct for position in space, not only rotation.

Honestly, its a pretty great product as far as gimbals go. If I ever needed a gimbal, I'll probably have my eyes set on this. Price seems fairly reasonable too, for what you get. DJI would have doubled the price if they came up with their own version of this with these features.

Great video ! But I feel like without the app the gimbal is useless. It would be interesting to know what features we can use with other apps like the normal camera app of IPhone.
You should check out the new Hohun isteady M3 that was released last week, for AI tracking that doesn't use the gimbal's app.
Decently priced. But pretty big on use. Best thing about this is how it's much more compact compared to DJI and Zhiyun when folded. Definitely will check this out.

Does this (or for that matter any other) gimbal make use of Android cameras, such as S23 Ultra? I briefly had DJI OM3 and never really used it - it wasnt able to use zoom and the app was really counterintuitive compared to the built-in camera app. So I guess the real revolution would be a gimbal that offers these advanced functions on Android as well.
The camera compatibility lis t says that it's compatible with several Samsung phones including 23 ultra.
@@shaunmcdonough4642 it is compatible in many basic ways - you can attach it to the gimbal and it probably has a dedicated Android app. However, this app most probably lacks many advanced features - zoom controls and switching lenses for example. This way you never get most of your gimbal even if it is "compatible" as such.

It was only released yesterday and I have already watched a dozen UA-cam reviews of it. Most other reviews also include the limitations and downsides of this model. And nobody has mentioned the compatibility with Android.
I read the reviews on Amazon and Android compatibility is a major flaw. Many functions are not available to Android devices

This is like your cinema production without using the bigger gimble that need to attach to your body, He'k imagine using this to make your self your own film that feels like a high level production (in my case personally)
DJI OM 5 and 6 basically have all these features, all the AI tracking and software driven modes are copies of what's been available since DJI OM 4. Only thing here different is the battery charger and collapsible tripod (which is removable for DJI)
